After having a terrible experience with Samuels jewelers (Austin & SA craftsmanship), I decided to seek an outsider to help me with my wedding bands. I did a lot of my own research before going in and it helped me see these guys were being honest. Long story short Paul Martinez was exceptional. Great service from the beginning. He helped save my wedding bands and for a reasonable price too. It was wonderful seeing the finished work after almost giving up hope. Definitely recommend!

Martinez & Hood serviced my Rolex Datejust in only a week for a great price, much less than what I had been quoted at Russell Korman, where they wanted $ 1,100 and 5 weeks to do the service. My watch hasn’t been serviced in quite a while and suddenly stopped running, so I was worried that the quote I got at Russell Korman was accurate due to the amount of work they would have to do. Then I went to Martinez & Hood, where they opened up the case right there in front of me and very quickly determined that there was no damage to my watch, and that it just needed a good servicing. The normal price is $ 550 for Rolex service, but they had a special at the time, and only charged me $ 450.
Don’t waste your time and money taking your watch to a fancy jewelry store where they’ll overcharge you and probably do a poor job too, based on some of the reviews I’ve read on Unilocal.Go to the guys at Martinez & Hood. They’ll do the job right and will charge you a reasonable price and finish it in a reasonable amount of time.

Just picked up my antique Omega that they cleaned and installed a new band on. It looks great. Two other places said it would be 2 – 5 months for them to do this. These guys had it done overnight. Literally. Super nice and friendly place. Definitely will be back for jewelry or watch needs.

Left my Panerai with biz owner/​partner John Hood after dropping it face down on ceramic tile floor-​not good. Hands were off, floating inside, and not keeping time with hour hand still attached. He had it repaired by the NEXT DAY. This was a week ago. I know they are honest as the bill could have been triple or more what they charged me… this is a complicated and expensive watch. I know they are pro’s as watch keeps perfect time again. I am so impressed with this business and will go there again in a heartbeat. High end watches are getting more and more difficult to have serviced with makers choking parts supply and requiring sending in to main hubs for expensive service. They sell jewelry as well which I have yet to explore but will def be my go-​to in the future. Great to have a watch repair you can trust. THANK YOU
