Bar is under new ownership! Cool married couple own it now. Had a blast hanging out there with friends & family, listening to some live acoustic music. Friendly staff and nice rooftop deck to hang out on, with nice view.
Parking can be a bit tricky, but we didn’t have a problem finding a spot.
If you haven’t been, check it out. If you went before, check it out again.

Fun bar but DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT! It’s belongs to the Chinese restaurant next door and you WILL GET BOOTED. Unless you are cool with paying $ 150, park on the street. Or across the street at Torchy’s, which apparently does not tow (according to the guy who booted my bar). Otherwise– a great bar and really fun. Worth checking out!

Cheap drinks, nice bartender, but the comic performing told the most horrific racist rape joke I’ve ever heard and nothing about any of it was funny at all, so… I won’t be returning.

I really liked this place when it first opened. Good, cheap, super clean and very lively atmosphere. Everything was exactly the same last night except the cheap shots were more like tastes. They didn’t even fill the whole bottom of a 7oz plastic cup. I left kinda felling like I had just been ripped off as they were nowhere close to an actual shot. Friends down town was offering Jell-​O shots for a dollar that probably had more alcohol in them than the shots offered there that night. I still like the place but will only order beer from now on which is a downer because it never used to be like that.

I am not much for bars in the campus area. However, this was an awesome little bar, with a really cool rooftop bar & patio. Kirsten was my bartender and she was beyond friendly and sweet. Highly recommend this bar!
Tito’s was only $ 4 per drink. CHEAP CHEAP drinks!!!

The recently (as of spring 2012) resuscitated «rooftop» bar, Love Goat is awesome in terms of ambience, and cheap in terms of price. Monday night 25¢ wells, Tuesday Night 1 $ wells, and any other night $ 1.50 wells. How could you not afford to be here? The roof patio overlooks part of the drag, and there is an upstairs bar as well as the downstairs one. The chairs upstairs are more like wooden picnic tables with removable benches, and they are pretty short, so if you are a tall person, you may feel like you are drinking on a playground.
Either way, it’s worth your time!

I was unsure at first, but I gave it a try and I had a lot of fun here with my friends. The bar is within stumbling distance to UT, the drinks were cheap and strong, and they have a nice roof-​top patio with lots of seating and another bar. The owner and manager/​bartenders are very nice, and are quick to learn your name. It can get kinda busy at the downstairs bar, but the roof-​top is usually a safe bet. The only downside is parking, which is on area streets, but most people I know just hop on the bus or walk since it is so close.

I will never go here again
No draft beers! I could go to 7⁄11 and get a six pack instead of sit in a place that looks like an unfinished side project.
It didn’t help that when the owner showed up he was a complete dick for no reason.
I didn’t feel welcome there and will definitely take my business anywhere else in Austin. This place is a joke and a waste of time.

This place is awesome! It’s a hidden gem but once you’re inside you won’t want to go anywhere else. Staff is A+ and they have awesome drink specials. Haven’t been yet on the weekends but seems like an ideal spot with the upstairs patio.
