Lepa European Esthetics

I have been going to Lepa for several years. I just love the staff and the new location is so much nicer. I have used Sarah and Becca for RDT body treatment and both are excellent. If you have stubborn cellulite they can help. I exercise every day and needed something to boost all my work! They also carry a unique line of skin care that you can’t find anywhere else in Austin.

I’d been struggling with pretty terrible acne since my early teens, and had given up on dermatologists who kept pushing Accutane. I’d had facials at other locations in the past, but seen minimal results. Luckily, I discovered LePA in 2011. Manja’s warm, peaceful, knowledgeable aura made me feel instantly at ease. She talked with me through the whole facial, explaining what she was doing and why, and giving me some insight into the very different European approach to skin care. I was instantly hooked, and started coming every 4 – 6 weeks, and watching my skin transform. A move to NYC only made my visits less frequent — after a couple of super expensive high-​end facials in NYC, I decided to just see Manja when I came back to Austin for visits. I DO NOT HAVE ACNE ANYMORE. And on top of that, since moving back to ATX 18 months ago, we’ve started a microneedling procedure that is getting rid of my scars. I catch glimpses of my skin in the sunlight now and don’t believe it’s mine. Skincare with Manja has been literally life changing.
Doesn’t stop there. Since moving back, I’ve also begun microneedling with Sarah. She’s another lovely human being who can work miracles. Her incredible attention to detail mean that she’s really great at her job, and also that she loves to do it. It shows! Microneedling doesn’t feel great, but after a year or so, my eyebrow growth has slowed considerably. When it stops on my lip as well, I’m going to find another area to do, so I can continue to hang out with her every few weeks.
Latest gem: body contouring with Becca! But of course, at LePA, its not only about looking good, it’s also about being healthier. I just completed the 12-​week program with Becca (yet another fun, caring, skilled professional on the LePA team). Not only did I lose 8 TOTAL INCHES across my problem areas, but I love that 1. I now understand what causes cellulite, and 2. I know that Becca got all of those toxins out of my body. I will absolutely be visiting her monthly for maintenance, and for detox wraps before special occasions.
Overall, I adore the spa, its owner Manja, and everyone else who works there. They are all highly knowledgeable about what they do, and why those treatments are good for your body and soul. They do not try to push additional products and services like so many other spas I’ve visited (although they should — the skincare line they sell in-​house is utterly amazing and I don’t think can be purchased anywhere else in the states). Those products and services have honestly changed my life for the better.

I have had skin issues all my life, and am a bit of a skincare junkie. I decided last year I would start getting regular facials to really get my skin under control (and also see a dermatologist), and so I was very picky about what salon I would go to. I didn’t want to go somewhere that I felt was just a glorified facial massage — I wanted real skincare science and expertise.
This brought me to LePa. After several facials I can say all the positive Unilocal reviews are completely accurate and well deserved. I see Becca who is very knowledgeable and I feel like she really pays attention to my skin. She will customize the treatment depending on how my skin is that day. I have a tendency to over exfoliate which leaves it a little raw sometimes, and Becca always uses gentle products on my skin. I have never been pushed to buy products, though I have bought some in the past as the results from the products LePa uses are really good.
I have noticed a definitely improvement in my skin, and moreover have been trying to follow Becca’s advice to be more gentle and healing with my skin, and not use so much exfoliating/​acid products. I think this has really made a big difference.
The spa itself is very clean and airy, and not overly stuffy or formal, so it’s relaxing in that way.
I think you will be really happy if you chose to go to LePa, they take very good care of your skin.

I’ve been a devotes LePa client for eight years (electrolysis and facials); there’s no one I trust more with my skin. I can’t say enough good things about Manja, both as a person and professional. She’s been in the field since childhood (her mother runs a chain of spas in Slovenia), plus the aesthetician certifications there are highly rigorous; they’re akin to medical school.
Manja throughly trains her staff and only hires the best. Every LePa employee is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, professional, and deeply kind, warm, and friendly. Every other place I’ve gotten electrolysis or facials pales in comparison. And they really care and treat their clients like family!

What a fantastic little Austin gem of a spa! I had an excellent facial from Becca, who has the magic touch! It was so relaxing, and even the extractions were quite comfortable. I appreciate the time she took in explaining how to better care for my skin.
I recently began electrolysis with her, and she has been very thorough in explaining the entire procedure. She is meticulous in her process, and I leave feeling like I’ve been well cared for.

I recently started electrolysis with Becca. She is well-​versed in the service and thoroughly answered all of my questions. LePA’s machine is wonderful and makes for a much less painful experience than I’ve had in the past. They use an awesome lotion and cooling globes afterwards and don’t charge for pre and post care, which is rare but much appreciated. Becca really pays attention to my skin during the service and is mindful about scheduling around my facials so that my skin has time to heal properly.
I’ve also begun replacing my old skin care products with the ones she’s recommended to me and my skin has never been better. I constantly get compliments on my skin! So glad that I found Becca and LePA and have taken steps to better my skin!

I got the signature facial with Becca, it was amazing! She listened to all my skin concerns and was very sympathetic to my skin issues. She really tried to help my breakdown why my breakouts may be occurring, and what things I should change in my lifestyle to help. This is something my dermatologist did not even do. It’s now a few days after my facial and my skin looks brighter and my blemish congestion looks noticeably better. She did a great job with all my extractions, and her face and neck massage was so relaxing. I’ll definitely be back for my follow up!

My rosacea and erratic skin care meant I really needed help. Manja taught me how to care for my skin and I’ve been getting facials, with extractions (and neck/​shoulder massages) every 4 – 6 weeks for a couple of years or so now. My skin has really calmed down. I had a facial from Becca recently and it too was a wonderful and relaxing experience. I recommend both Manja and Becca highly!
I get electrolysis with Sara who is a lovely person to spend time with! She is super clean and thorough in her work and my hairs are disappearing!
By the way, Lepa is very clean and in a sweet house on Hancock Dr. — just a bit off Burnet Rd. It’s easy to find, in central Austin and has off-​street parking.

Over the past year, Manja has transformed my skin! I receive the Signature Facial every 6 – 8 weeks and my once consistent adult acne (including occasional hormonal cysts) are pretty much gone! They never push products but will recommend them if you ask.

My first ever spa facial was with Becca, and I was glad to have her knowledge and patience. I was even able to learn some tips on keeping my skin healthy between visits. Also, I’ve always had trouble finding a makeup foundation that is easy to apply and matches my skin color, so I normally went without any makeup. But thanks to Becca’s guidance and Lepa’s products, I now have a solid makeup routine that I enjoy enough to do almost every day.

LePa European Esthetics is a gem of a spa in Austin. I’m an esthetician myself, but Becca is who I turn to when I’m in need of some pampering. She gives a fantastic facial, especially when it comes to extractions! Great touch, thorough yet gentle exfoliation, painless extractions and a luxurious mask with a scent that lingered, making me want to see her all over again.
I’m also receiving electrolysis treatments from Becca and couldn’t be happier with the results so far, even this early in the game. She’s very knowledgeable on every service she provides and with that being said, I can’t wait to book a massage with her!

I have been a client of LePa for over six years. Manja, the owner, who trained in Europe, is not only the best in her field, but her entire staff is committed to excellence, and trained individually by her. Once you have experienced a facial or any of the other services, you realize you are in the right place. The European products she uses have done amazing things for my skin, and every step of each process is explained for its importance. Her brand new location is right in the middle of Austin, and has private parking off the street. LOVE THIS PLACE!

I had a Telo Body Facial from Becca, and it was lovely! She has fabulous super-​soft hands and is both a licensed esthetician and massage therapist. She’ll evaluate your skin, and then starts with a full-​body sugar scrub with you lying on a specially-​designed spa bath/​shower table. If you are not comfortable being naked in front of someone this might not be the service for you! They provide a disposable panty and boob-​tube coverlet, but they are literally tissue paper, and don’t really cover a whole lot. I believe you can bring your own bikini or underwear if you’d like. So she scrubs you down, rinses you off, and then you transfer to the massage table bed, where she applies the appropriate moisturizing masque (I had the milk + honey) all over your body, and then wraps you up in a plastic sheet and blanket. You get a little head massage, and then Becca leaves you to marinate for just a few more minutes. I almost fell asleep, I was so relaxed! Then she comes back, and rinses you off, and you’re left with amazingly silky-​smooth skin! It’s a great way to pamper yourself.
Lepa has recently moved to Hancock Drive; they are now in an adorable little house and it seems very spacious with a great feel to it. The treatment rooms are good sized; the one I was in held both the shower table and massage table, and there was plenty of room.
