Had a great experience. Nice indoor/outdoor areas for sitting, the owners were nice, and good quality beers. I tried 5 samples, and I really liked the BPA, Coffee Porter, and Wheat.

Came here after a stop at JK and this place was a pleasant little surprise! Far less crowded than JK and the outdoor patio area was fantastic on a gorgeous spring day to just vegge out, hang w/friends, enjoy some brews, and play a mean game of cornhole! Their beers were very hit or miss for me. I did the sampler and nothing really stood out, but none were undrinkable, just not really my style. If you like hoppy beers, then you will probably enjoy their selections more than I did. Their stout was ok, but in all fairness, probably not the best choice on a warm day as it was heavy. I will say, what stole the show for me here was our little discovery of their Revolution Spirits barn. They were doing a free tasting of their gin and Cafecito coffee liqueur, both of which were absolutely awesome! I really like the gin as the lavender in the batch we tasted was very prevalent. I am usually not a gin drinker, but the mix of this w/the hibiscus tea that they served was perfection! The Cafecito, however, was so mindblowingly good, I immediately dropped the $ 25 to purchase a bottle on-site! It is made w/Cuvee and packs a delightful, caffeinated, yet alcohol-y punch. I have paired it drizzled over some coconut, chocolate chip, almond vanilla ice cream, and it is what dreams are made of! I probably would come back here in a few months to see if they have any different beers on their rotation and to restock on the spirits.

Absolutely great beer. I had one of the samplers and loved every beer on it. Great price for the sampler too. They have a great outdoor seating area as well. I liked everything about this brewery. The staff was friendly and helpful. We came for a bachelorette party and they were really nice to our group and answered any and all questions we had about their beers and sights to see in Austin. I would recommend this brewery to anyone looking for a fun low key day/night out.

Of all the breweries we visited in Austin, Last Stand was by far my favorite! Their dunkle weisen beer was as good as any I had in Germany and the atmosphere in the tap room just oozed«Austin.» While we were there, another group slowly trickled in to the outdoor seating area with instruments. They played for hours and the guy singing had the most amazing, country-twang voice. I loved the impromptu live music, the relaxed«beer garden» area and most importantly the beer!

This place was awesome! Came over from Austin on a Saturday afternoon for a visit and loved it. Had a couple glasses of the Farmhouse #7 which was great. The beer line was short, the staff were nice, the beer was good, the sun was shining and the live music was nice. Had a great time sitting outside relaxing. Would definitely come here again!

Hidden gem in hill country. Small little brewery with great beer. Just up the road from Jester, without the madness. Nice relaxing outdoor patio and rumor is a soon to open indoor tasting room, very dog friendly. Take the trip, you won’t be sorry.

AMAZINGBEERSANDSELECTION! We visited this place the day after Christmas, and they were very accommodating. Mandy gave excellent service, and all of the beers tasted good, especially the BPA and the Coffee Porter. 8 taps and I’m sure there will be more.

Last Stand Brewery is Five Star! We arrived at Last Stand the day after Christmas to sample their brew. As we got out of our car the owners Mandy and Cary met us at our car and informed us that they were closed for the holidays but invited us in for some samples of their beer anyway — a private tasting! Mandy was so nice to us. She served a sample of every beer they had and answered all of our questions on the brewing. Cary was busy working on their new taproom but stopped his work to answer additional questions. The new tap area is looking so sweet Additional customers arrived and Mandy helped them as well. The beer was awesome! Creative IPAs and Stouts exceptional. We bought several bottles of beer and then made plans to go back next weekend.

We stopped on a whim and left so happy we did. Great atmosphere, super owners and staff, and amazing beers. The IPA was our favorite, but to end with the Coffee Porter was awesome too. Trop Hop was so unique that we have to say it was a surprise in a great way. Bring your food and enjoy some well crafted, great tasting beers!

Walking up to a barn bar was a bit interesting and exciting. Its set the tone as a nice place to relax and enjoy a beer. Their have a lovely area where you can rest by some nice trees and listen to lice music. I tried 3 of their beers and I found the flavors to be a bit to bold or weak. The balance of flavors just wasn’t there, but the beer was still good just not something would keep me coming back for seconds. But the atmostphere was wonderful. Not to busy either which made it a great chill spot.

Very nice space — great outdoor area with picnic tables in addition to a few tables inside with fans. Hubby and the boys liked the beers.

Solid beer that beats any other clean ale brewers in the area of Austin that I’ve tasted. I’m a huge fan of Jester King but don’t understand why on a Sunday afternoon there wasn’t as many Austin hipsters swarming onto this equally impressive brewery. Is it because they don’t make sour ales? I highly doubt that. I guarantee that they’re making better clean ales than Jester King with the kazillion millennials they serve to only steps away. I’m disappointed that the Austin beer scene is not considering other points of inspiration besides the new up and coming American Belgian farmhouse inspired breweries. This brewery is making solid clean ales that deserves respect. And if you are any fan of beer you should appreciate each beer based on the merit of the brewer’s intention and not solely on the idea of the present American craft beer scene as 2015 group think.

Love this place. It offers tons of different types of beer and some options for food. If you go on the weekend keep in mind that is a lot of people, so it will be a long lines for get the beer(most likely), however is not that annoying, because the lines move pretty fast. Try to be underneath the trees because if you will seat on the main building unfortunately it’s really hot and for some reason it feels like the air is not enough even though they have a lot of windows and doors. I guess there is nothing to do with the Texas heat. Besides that every time I go there is always fun, and is puppy friendly too.

Great new brewery in the Dripping Springs area. They currently have a solid five brews on tap. Our faves were the BPA and Coffee Porter. I will say that I need a session beer from them… something a little less on the alcohol would be good, but that’s just my preference. The location is just a few minutes down the street from Jester King(so if you’re already out at JK, come give Last Stand a try!). They are located in a really cool business park. There’s also a distillery a few doors down! There is a couple of places to sit inside and a full outdoor area with seating(if you’re allergic to hay, it might be an issue).

Good new brewery. Limited variety but a pretty cool set up with a distillery abt 3 feet away, and the beers good.

Nice brewery, 1 mile past Jester King. Normal beers, no funky hipster beer names. Just good drinks, Biergarten, not overrun with the masses yet. A food trailer on site, and next to a distillery. No parking hassle. I had the IPA and my husband had the Belgian Pale Ale, both good. I think I favor the Belgian. Prices are fair, $ 5 for a full pour, $ 2 for a sample. Kid friendly. Clean restrooms. I’ll be back soon, I hope, to sample some of their other beers.
