Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. Salsa is nice and hot. Decent. Very Ethnic. Authentic. Good menu. Its a little loud in there. Too much music and often times the stuff on their TVs is distracting and borderline offensive. Fast Five was playing during my lunch visit and I’m sporting my race car for my sig picture. At least the movie’s dialogue was drowned out by the blaring Tejano music.

I found this place rather blah. I had barbacoa, meh. Parking was a little frustrating. Prices cheap. Topper to everything… going to the till to check out and pay to see a candy that was either in the shape of a toilet or was in the toilet. Seriously?! Oh, waitress was less than happy to be at work that day, much less smile.

Step into Mexico. With a small shrine to Jesus and a television on the wall that constantly plays soccer, this place is reminiscent of the many family-owned taqueria’s one might find in Mexico. Super-low prices and all the standard Mexican dishes delivered with quality if not creativity. This is a nice place to pick up affordable to-go orders for anyone and a great place to soak up foreign ambiance for the adventurous.

Quiet little taqueria near the corner of Airport and Oak Springs on the East Side. I’ve stopped in here for a quick to-go snack a couple times and the food has been pretty good. My usual chicken burrito was about what you’d expect. At $ 3.95 the burrito is good, but not the best ever. The Menu seems to be geared at a more of a dinner crowd(with a wide selection of meat and fish options) than the usual taqueria. They have a good sized dining room and lots of parking out front. It also looks like they’ve added baked goods(las panaderias) up in the front of the shop.
