John Perez Tattoos

I rarely find myself speechless, but when I looked in the mirror at my final piece… there were no words. John is so incredibly talented, and I feel like even that is an understatement. He has now tattooed both me and my boyfriend and both of our tattoos are masterpieces. Flawless. John will work with you every step of the way. The consult was easy and enlightening and I couldn’t have asked for more when I saw the way he put all of the ideas together. My boyfriend and I are moving to MA soon, but we’re already planning on coming back specifically for John’s artwork. Well worth it!
And on a slightly unrelated note, John and his wife are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. So accommodating and hospitable. They make you feel at home throughout the entire process!

My husband recently had a full sleeve done by John. It’s absolutely a work of art! I’ve wanted to get a tattoo for many years but was having trouble deciding what to get. It was also important for me to find an artist that I connected with and not just a walk-​in appointment. John is that tattoo artist! After I saw my husband’s arm, my tattoo finally came to me. I sent John my vision and he turned it into something I will treasure forever. I have a sea turtle with a Polynesian inspired shell that is gently glided through water and cherry blossoms. The turtle is black and grey with a ridiculous amount of detail. I’m really glad we decided to do the blossoms in color; I love the femininity of them. John is talented and hard working; the proof is in the art he creates on your body! Brainstorming the next one…

I drove all the way from Midland/​Odessa to get tatted by John. We did our consultation over the phone and sent my idea/​pics via email. The shop he works at is Hub Tattoo. My appointment got started an hr late since he had over booked some consultations and needed to grab some food to chow down real quick. I didn’t mind, because I wanted him awake and functioning when he did my tattoo. My tattoo came out amazing. I love everything about it. It is my first realistic tattoo. If anyone is looking to get a realistic tattoo I would definitely tell them to hit up John.

John did my first tattoo and he’ll do my last tattoo. I have 50+ hours of tattoos all done by him. He’s also a cool dude and we’ve actually became good friends since my first piece. I’ve even used his art within my clothing brand. I have to carry around more of his business cards than my own, because I get stopped so much and asked about his work. He comes highly recommened by me if you’re in the Austin area… and hell if you’re not in the area, then make the trip over this way to see him.

Got a tattoo when he was in San angelo got a non traditional st michaels tattoo on my forearm nothing but compliments, I’ll definitely be driving 4 hrs to get tatted by him again

I researched black and grey tattoo artists in Austin or several days. As soon as I found John Perez Tattoos website I knew he was the artist I was looking for. He is extremely talented and took the concept I had in mind to another level. His eye for detail is amazing. I get compliments all the time for my tattoo.

Hands down the best tattooist in Texas I’ve ever seen or had the privilege to be tattooed by. His understanding on laying ink into skin is above the level of most. He brought my idea to reality better than I could have imagined myself. If you’re not getting tattooed by John, then you’re settling for less than the best. The 4 hour drive and 5 hour session was well worth my money. My next tattoo will be a John Perez!
