Absolute worst food truck I’ve ever been to. I ordered one of cheesesteaks with all the ingredients on it. It was late at night so I was not surprised that they ran out of the ingredients for my sandwich. I waited forever for them to make my sandwich and when I realized that people who ordered after me were getting their food, I asked about the status of my order. The cashier gave me a blank stare as if she had no clue what I was talking about. The chef behind the grill said they ran out of what I ordered. The problem escalated when they refused to refund my order. I was in disbelief that they didn’t have the capability of giving me my money back. They should not have sold any more of the combo cheesesteaks if they were out of ingredients. The cashier was nice and offered me a cheaper sandwich than what I ordered since there was an unaccounted for sandwich that no one picked up. I took it and was happy. I started eating it and then the chef brought me a sandwich with grilled peppers on it so I took the new sandwich. He took the first sandwich out of my hand and threw it in the trash. Literally chucked it in the garbage. My friend and I looked at each other in disbelief and walked back to the hotel room. The sandwich with the grilled peppers was awful. I’ve had cheesesteak in Philly so I know a good philly when I taste one. This one was awfully bland and the bread was soggy and a mess. Avoid this place at all costs.

I’m from Philly and have had many cheesesteaks, so I was excited to see a place that claims they are an actual Philly cheesesteak place. Well, not so much. The bread was store-bought rolls. The cheese sauce was waaaay too gooey and messy — they should just use actual American cheese like a real cheesesteak shop. The meat was burnt and the messy cheese sauce couldn’t cover that up. Probably won’t come back unless they make this into an actual cheesesteak truck like it’s supposed to be.

I asked for a cheesesteak with grilled onions NOT a chopped onion sandwich with a hint of beef!!! First and last time I go here. By far, worst place for a cheesesteak. I asked for a jessicas cheesesteak and it had an option for onions. Before I ordered, I asked if they were grilled onions. The girl said they were so I went ahead and ordered it. When I bit the sandwich it was nothing but onions and they were definitely not grilled. I went to speak to the girl about it but she refused to help. I first asked for a refund then proceeded to show her the sandwich with the clear abundance of onions but she said they didnt give refunds. I then asked if they could add beef or make another one. She told me they used half onions and half beef. Again, I showed her the sandwich but no luck. The worst part of the situation was that she then decided to talk to the cook about my situation and completely ignore me. I was right behind her. I am never going back, especially after the lack of customer service.

Visiting Austin for the Austin Marathon so we decided to check out the local food trucks. Jessica’s was AWESOME! Best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had! At first it looked like there was a lot of bread but it was the perfect amount and there was plenty of steak to go with it. I would definitely recommend the cheesesteak to anyone!

This food truck sits in a good location with other trucks. BUT you’re always intrigued for a good philly. And sowas I and I went for it. What I got was a disgusting sandwich. The meat was horrible! Didn’t even taste like meat, steak’ums taste much better than whatever meat they’re using. And for 2.00 up charge for onions and mushrooms, SKIPTHISPLACE. Worst food truck I’ve had in Austin. Beware of this rip-off shop.

I am gonna have to say that I only had their sweet potato fries. They were fantastic. I swear they tasted like french toast, but in a good way. It appeared to have sugar and maybe even cinnamon(not for sure) but definitely unique. The price was $ 3.50 and kinda had mixed feelings about that. They sell can sodas for $ 1.

We got the Jessica’s Cheeseburger with a side of fries while waiting for the July 4th celebration traffic to clear out. The fries($ 2) were similar to McDonald’s and the burger($ 5) was a frozen patty that I think is pre-packaged. There’s nothing notable about the food I had, but it’s a fine place to get a quick bite to eat downtown.

This was the biggest disappointment. I ordered the Jessica Cheesesteak and it was 95% onion with minimal steak. I have had better Cheesesteak sandwiches in airports. I would not recommend this place.

I’ve never had a cheesesteak where the bread fell completely apart. This was the case, I won’t be back.

After a few free beers at a SXSW party, my friends and I were on the hunt for something delicious, filling, and preferable greasy. Jessica’s was perfect for the moment. There was a bit of a line but it didn’t take long to get our order. Especially considering the hungry crowd that was gathered outside. My guy ordered provolone but got wiz instead. Major bummer. Especially when you despise fake cheese as much as he does. Still he ate it and I helped him. Dripping grease and faux cheese nomnomnom. Good stuff. I just had an order of fries. Decent! The chopped style was easy eating. But next time I’ll hit up Way South Philly instead. Sorry Jess.

I tried the cheesesteak with sweet potato fries during lunch and paid $ 11.50! For that price I could eat at P. F Changs on their lunch menu, which comes with a soup or salad, and a gourmet meal. I am all about supporting local, but be reasonable when charging prices at a food truck. It’s not like your overhead is high. Because of the exorbant price I will not become a repeat customer.

If you see yourself as a sophisticated food critic, this may or may not be the place for you. If you know anything about the cause this local business supports, there is not a better place to eat in Austin! Good food and great cause.

Not the best steak and cheese in Austin but it’s a valid attempt. The presentation was lack luster, and the execution amateur. That’s the good. Taste was below expectations that’s the bad. Ugly was the price and location. Not much foot traffic there anymore since construction started.

I was actually not a big fan of the cheesesteak but the meatball sandwich was awesome! 3 stars for the cheesesteak, 5 for the meatball.
