Very nice hotel with good breakfast, as well as being within walking distance or a short drive away from plenty of restaurants.

This place was great! Could be cheaper, but perfectly clean, helpful staff, no problems. Nicest hotel in the area I’ve stayed in, and I stay long term every year.

Beautiful, clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was originally staying at the Hampton Inn next door and ended up cancellation my reservation and moving here. Highly recommended.

Compared to other suites, this one seemed very simple. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was so-so.the kids liked the pancakes & the cinnamon rolls were good, but the eggs don’t even taste like eggs. The outdoor pool looked nice, just to cold when we visited. Bed was comfy. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. I only seen like 2 – 3 other people besides staff. They had no problem with us hanging out in the dining room playing cards and watching the game on the TV in there. We were comfortable here.

Maybe Holiday Inn is conducting an experiment here to see how much rudeness and downright dishonesty guests will tolerate on the part of hotel staff. Some examples: When we went to the front desk to see if we could make a room change, 2 staff members were chatting with sales women about herbal products and completely ignored us until we finally interrupted them. Their answer to our request? Hotel is booked solid; can’t do it. Yep, that was a pretty obvious lie. Need more intel? Fire alarm went off at midnight, on the stroke of midnight. For about 2 seconds. Which suggests it was not some kid in the hallway pulling the alarm. When that happens it takes a while for somebody to kill it. This was an inside job; more like a brief test from the control panel. Really amusing. The pool hours are clearly posted on the door that exits to the pool, but don’t expect it to be open on Sunday morning until you actually go to the front desk an hour after posted opening time to ask when it might be open. You’ll get a nod for an answer(no vocal communication deemed necessary, so none given). The pool will be open a short while later, but those nice new cushions for the outdoor furniture? They’ll still be stacked up under the covered patio & not actually ON the furniture. There are MUCHBETTER options for your accommodations in the same area and price range as this place. Trust me: I know; I’m a frequent visitor and former longtime area resident. Holiday Inn should peel their brand name off it ASAP or fire everyone on staff and post a public apology notice in the Austin American-Statesman. I almost never rip businesses in this forum, but they deserve this rant. Pass this one up.

I stay here when on business visiting our Austin office. I have never had a bad experience here and it is clean and quiet! Plenty of dining options in the area. Staff is also very friendly. As always NOCOMPLAINTS about this place. I have stayed here 30+ weeks in 2013 and never had a bad experience with the hotel or staff. If you’re expecting 5 star hotel service, you’re better off going downtown and spending $ 500 a night to have someone kiss your butt. If you want a comfortable, quiet and uneventful stay then this is the place for you!

I put my wedding guests here for my wedding, and the service was exceptional! We had to reserve early in order to get enough rooms, as the wedding coincided with the SXSW festival. Bill Patel, the manager, worked with me over the few months before the wedding, and he was very patient with me. He always responded quickly when I had questions. Per their website, they have been recently renovated. The rooms were huge! The hotel was clean, and they had a good breakfast in the morning, according to my guests. I borrowed their conference room in the morning for my hair and makeup artist. The rest of the staff were very polite too.

Christmas, family in town staying at my place and the chaos ensues. I catch the flu and try to stay away from the young ones at my place. Long story short I need a place for one nights rest. I’m not a Holiday In kind of person but it was close and kind of new. Pleasant staff. Clean, Room was huge, clean and modern. Much more than I expected, was worth the money. My only complaint was the floor they put me on had rooms they were renovating and even with the flu the smell of turpentine was intense. As they didn’t have that many guests, for whatever reason you would think they would have put me on another floor. I would recommend this place and use this place again. They had a little kitchen and sitting area and free continental breakfast downstairs. Not a bad deal!
