I stayed in the Hampton Inn here for 2 weeks while working in Bee Cave. This is your typical hotel, not award worthy but definitely comfortable. However, there were flaws I’d like to point out. As has become a common trend the towels are as hard as they come and the same goes for the sheets. The sheets on the bed were the most uncomfortable and hard sheets I’ve slept on from any hotel, big downside and unfortunate. The breakfast was lacking, especially the powdered eggs served every morning. The hot water was hardly hot in the shower. The ambient noise of the hotel was among some of the loudest I’ve heard making it difficult to relax. Lastly there appeared to be an issue coming from within the walls somewhere that would emit a tapping sound every morning at about 6 – 7 am. I understand these aren’t make or break but having stayed in multiple Hampton Inn’s I expect more when it comes to hospitality referring to «the basics» regarding a Hampton.

This place has the most amazing breakfast spread. It was 6−10am on a Sunday and included all kinds of breads and sweats, oatmeal, omelettes, sausage, waffles, fruit and more.

I cannot believe I am first to review this hotel. It is in Lakeway and has won every award imaginable for its hospitality. I use this hotel as it is very close to Mom’s place and it has become an oasis for me. The staff helped me find the perfect room location for my stays, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good and changed daily, the hot tub was small but great for one or two snuggling, and it was behind the Whataburger. And again, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Obviously, I will be staying again.
