Kathy is the sweetest person! I was having a lot of issues with my doctor and having bad reactions to the medication prescribed, and she was extremely helpful and in a great mood even though I’m sure I was being such a pain in the butt. I simply cannot describe how grateful I am for her and her staff during this stressful time. This is true southern hospitality!

Today I, once again missed the Pharmacy and hence now a medication I had transferred from the wonderful Pharmacy at Hancock to the lame unpredictable pharmacy at Burnet store #9,I have been left in the cold. Literally! I rode my bike up there in 25 degrees only to find that on a Saturday your pharmacy closed before 8PM, then Sunday forget it too crowded to get in line then closed at 6?! So tonight I check the posted hours that are even on this website right now, and guess what it says the Pharmacy is open until 9PM so I waited til 8 to call for my Levothroxin Thyroid pills, and what do I hear” Pharmacy closes at 8PM” So just when IS this Pharmacy actually open? Now I have to go send my wife to get my prescription in the morning — by the way she works graveyard so that’s in the middle of her sleep cycle before I can function all because HEB can’t seem to figure out how to run this poor lame store so folks living around it can actually shop there! This is HEB is continually crowded closes way too early, The Pharmacy closes at 8PM! The store closes at 1AM, but the stockers are in your way all day long! The people are fine but the store itself is like an abandoned child it seems HEB forgot to bring into the twenty first century, everything is in bazaar places, it took me and the manager a week to find incense! I can say I have been more upset and frustrated because I happen to live near this«Store» Apparently, even with all the new Apartments and condos, they think only old folks and people that live in 1950s shop there! If you can avoid this store ATALLCOSTS. (Here is a copy of the Hours from HEBs’ own Website: Austin 9 H-E-B Print Print 5808 Burnet Rd Austin, TX78756 Get directions to this store Store Hours & Phone Numbers Main (512) 453‑8864 Pharmacy (512) 454‑6691 Store Hours Daily 6:00AM — 12:00AM Pharmacy Hours Monday — Friday 9:00AM-9:00PM Saturday 9:00AM-6:00PM Sunday 10:00AM-5:00PM ) Sorry if I sound upset it’s because I am. I worked at HEB for years and it’s so sad to see how mishandled and goofy this store is.

I love this pharmacy. Unlike most, you can get someone on the phone without being put on interminable hold, there never seems to be a long line, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

So I had to pop in and get some mustard. No complaints, it was 0630 ish in the AM. WTF do I have to complain about? They get 3 stars because I’ve used this store many many times throughout the years. It is old and small. When it gets crowded, check your patience meter!.. OMG it sometimes gets buggy to butt(buggy is my word for grocery cart)!

I have been a customer of the Allandale HEB for over a decade and I can tell you that I will NOT return to that store to get my prescriptions filled because of the treatment I received by their pharmacy worker Uvaldo, he has zero customer service skills, he is rude and I don’t believe he completed high school he is by far one of the most ignorant person I have ever encounter…

This HEB was my first HEB experience a few years back, and even though I’m no longer in that ‘hood, I had to check it out after it was recently remodeled. Did they add on a few hundred feet to this store? PROS: –It’s so OPEN and easy to get around! –Not at all crowded, even at 5:003 days before Christmas –Short lines(this was always the case, but again, even 3 days before Christmas) –Everything is easy-to-find! Apparently HEB learned NOT hire monkeys to organize this one. –Everyone’s friendly! I had a chat with a lovely older woman by the newsstand(she’s been to Hong Kong and her husband’s a professor), and another lady in line, and the cashier also had a smile. CONS: –Don’t try getting out of the parking lot to head north on Burnet during rush hour!(But that’s not the store’s fault.)

This pharmacy is located in one of the lesser HEBs with overripe produce and a harrowing parking lot. The pharmacy employees and pharmacists are super nice and always competent. Stress free and pleasant prescription refills.

this pharmacy is great. there are never(long) lines, and the customers don’t seem to be complete jerks, so you never have to listen to some rich old windbag berating the employees. HEB tends to have cheaper prices than randall’s and walgreens, so that’s a plus, too. the people behind the counter are really nice, and the pharmacists tend to take extra time to answer all your questions. side note, the pharmacy can’t check out your beer… well, they can look at it, but they can’t ring it up, none of them take the TABC class. le suck.
