He was so nice and informative. He speaks nice and slow with a patient demeanor so you never feel rushed or silly to ask him about anything. I think we will be changing OBGYN’s! I can’t wait to see what our future holds with Dr. Blumhagen. Wish us luck!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Blumhagen since 2007 and he is absolutely amazing! His bedside manner is IMPECCABLE! No question goes unanswered or is frowned upon or too uncomfortable (and I have had some strange ones.) I haven’t had the pleasure of having him delivery a child for me LOL (and don’t plan on it) but if you are comfortable with a male gynecologist I insist you use Guy V. Blumhagen!

what can I say, he is an amazing doctor. I am extremely picky when choosing any type of doctor or specialist and with my son being my first baby I reviewed a huge list of OBGYNs. Someone recommended Dr. Blumhagen and after just one visit I was sold. an amazing down to earth very sweet doctor. a doctor that will not sugar code words which is exactly what everyone needs specially when being treated for something as wonderful as a pregnancy. he made my delivery and any pregnancy issues so much easier to deal with psychologically. I cant wait for one day to allow him to deliver a second baby.

He has been the best gynecologist I’ve ever had. He is caring, patient, thorough, and very intelligent! The ultrasound techs, nurse, and office staff are great too, a really great experience. I would recommend him to anyone, worth the drive up north!

I have moved a lot and have had quite a few OBGYN MD’s over the years and none were as good as Dr. Blumhagan. He explains things in terms I can understand, without ever being condescending. He is gentle, kind, and patient. He seems to really know all the current research and his advice is solid. I I will be over 35 when I have my first child. He was not only NOT judgmental but was supportive of my life choices. He was my doctor when I lived in Austin 10 years ago. I made an appointment to see him when I moved back. My first appointment was cancelled earlier the same day because he had an emergency surgery to go to. I almost bailed for a MD that does routine GYN care only but I held with my initial decision to go to Dr. Blumhagan. I was so glad when I met him again and he was just as nice as I remembered.

Angelica is so right! Regardless of your age, Dr. Blumhagen is the best! I recommend him every chance I get. If I trust him to care for my daughter, you know he is exceptional! He puts his patients’ needs first. I have been a patient for over 10 years.

Ok, how strange is it to review an OBGYN? Perhaps, if you are a woman, you’d appreciate the fact that finding a good OBGYN is often a struggle. Well, ladies, look no more!
