Glow Spa & Wax House

I visited Glow Spa & Wax House for a eyebrow tint/​wax last week. I really loved the girl who helped me. She was so friendly and so helpful. The wax irritated my skin just a tad, but that was to be expected since it’s been forever. Overall, I was really pleased with my experience and would recommend giving it a try!

I will definitely recommend Jessica to anyone who needs a good masseuse. She was very attentive and thorough. Great prices and very kind front desk associates! I can’t wait to go back!

Many ladies messed up my eyebrows but this place fixed them back to where they need to be. Jessica knew exactly what I was talking about and needed. I recommend this place to everybody who wants there eyebrows right ! I haven’t tried anything else yet but I will be soon. Thank you for your great service time and time again.

I loved everything about this place. All the ladies were very nice and welcoming, everything was clean and cute! And Adriana does great waxing! Easy to talk to and distract you from the bit of pain you’re putting yourself through =) I’ve been looking for a regular place to go to and I’ve finally found it!

This was my first waxing experience, and I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect. I was pretty nervous, but afterwards I was very pleased with the results! The waiting area is clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and the rooms were relaxing. My waxer Adriana did an amazing job with my brows, and definitely knew how to handle a guy who’s never been waxed before!

Jessica is the only professional in town who I trust my skincare to. Her knowledge of brow shaping is excellent and her «bed-​side manner» is unparalleled. She helped my complexion dramatically and serves her clients with luxurious attention and patience. I have been in the wellness industry professionally for over 8 years and have had too many facials and waxing treatments to count. I’ve gone to all the high dollar spas, and I’m so grateful I found Glow. It’s a local gem!

Took my daughter to get her eyebrows waxed. She has extremely sensitive skin and usually has bad reactions. We are so pleased! Her skin barely turned red, perfected shaped and no reaction! So excited to find a great place.

Jessica is a great massage therapist! I really enjoyed my deep tissue massage yesterday. I’ll definitely be back. :)

I just discovered this gem yesterday when I was only seeking a brow wax. Jessica took such good care of me. It was the best chocolate wax ever!

This place is amazing! It’s reasonably priced, and I’ve never had my eyebrows look so good! The Brazilian was also great because she used high quality wax that is not near as painful as other places I’ve been!

couple weeks I came on a professional expedition with my class to see what running our own spa might look like. When I walked up o the door the glass storefront was so clear I could see all the beautiful candles and oils neatly in their rows. The staff was comfortable. Everyone paid the most attention to their jobs, but never shied from answering all of our questions. The spa rooms are soft and warm and the waxing room is very fresh. It gave me a new concept of the potential of my education. Thank you for having us! –V

Best wax experience ever! Jessica is so nice and knowledgable! First wax to not cause me to have a reaction and it was surprisingly not painful at all!

I’m new to the city and turned to Unilocal to find the perfect place to have my brows shaped. I decided to come here because they have a lot of «before and after» pictures of clients that had their brows done. Needless to say, I was impressed.
I called ahead of time to see if they had an opening and they did. The girl that answered the phone was very pleasant. When I arrived I was greeted and given a form to fill out (contact information, current meds, referral method, ect.). What I really loved was the fact that Jessica took her time to find out how I wanted to shape my brows and offered suggestions as to how far up my arch should go. I’ve been growing out my brows for MONTHS so this consultation meant a lot. Slightly nervous, she worked her magic. The process does a little longer than say a brow wax from a nail shop, but I’m totally fine with that. I’d much rather it take awhile and look great than have it take 5 minutes and the end result was the opposite of what I asked for.
The wax is $ 20 (minus 1 star), BUT it’s worth it. I’ll be back in a few weeks :)

I had a great experience at Glow. Adrianna is professional, personable and made me feel completely at ease during my 1^st bikinni wax. I was very nervous at first but she reassured me all would be well. I made a future appt. and look forward to working with her again. Glow is clean, modern and comfortable. It will set you at ease if it’s your 1^st wax experience! I can’t say it didn’t hurt. I mean, duh, hair is being waxed off your bod, but the wax they use is gentle and not too hot. They use herbal products that smell amazing. In the front of the store is a variety of products to sooth and nourish skin, along with some cool local jewelry for sale. I definitely recommend Adrianna and the business as a whole. Appts. can be made online which is convenient for me. They offer deals on specific services so check Unilocal before you go!

I love this place! I booked online with Jessica for a facial to treat a recent breakout. The space is adorable, my appointment was started on time, and Jessica didn’t try to upsell me on products-​she suggested on that would really make a difference in the day to day life of my skin.
Jessica made the experience soothing and pleasant. She clearly cares deeply about her clients and her work, and is meticulous about the products she uses.
Parking was easy and it’s conveniently close to burnet road. Booking online was easy, and they seem organized. I can’t wait to come back!

I’m so glad this place has opened up on Northcross! Very fast and professional. I’ve been using Ulta for brow maintenance, but this place is closer and the experience is far more enjoyable! Highly recommend!

The owner, Jessica, is solely responsible for my change of heart regarding this business. Her attention to detail and listening skills are top notch. She did not charge me for follow-​up services and made sure I felt at east throughout both of my visits. Her skills as a business owner are top-​notch, and her waxing prowess keen. Over a period of 1 month and 2 visits, we managed to get my brows back in fighting shape – just in time for my 40^th birthday.
I will definitely return to Jessica to keep my brows in check. :)

Austin Glow Spa does an amazing job! I’ve gotten my eyebrows done there twice and both times have been great. They take their time and really make sure to shape and clean your brows to follow your natural lines. The wax smells amazing and is organic! They also offer other products for skin care that are organic and work wonderfully. The last time I was in, the owner gave me a sample of a good exfoliant to try after I briefly mentioned I was in the market for something new. I am also I big advocate of using organic products and all the waxes, skin care products etc they offer are!
The staff is super friendly and helpful. The studio is clean, new, smells great, and is decorated beautifully!

I’ve had the pleasure to get my eyebrows waxed by the owner, Jessica, multiple times and was very upset to hear she had moved to Austin, TX. I whole heartedly miss Jessica and my finely shaped brows!
Next time we visit Austin, I WILL be visiting Glow Spa and Wax house to get my brows done RIGHT. Highly recommend Jessica and Glow Spa and Wax house!

I’m not gonna lie, getting my eyebrows waxed is not high on my list of things I enjoy doing. I generally get it done only once a year, and usually at a nail place. Thank goodness I found Glow Spa! Jess was telling me that the wax they use is high quality, and does a great job of sticking to the hair and not to the skin. There were no tears in my eyes after Jess waxed my eyebrows, not even when she used a tweezer to clean up some of the strays. I’ll be making this a more regular to do on my beauty list for sure! The price was a little higher than what I was used to paying at the nail places, but I would definitely say the quality of the experience made it all worth it. I wasn’t rushed, and Jess made sure that I was relaxed and felt comfortable. The spa is very inviting and welcoming, and I look forward to going back for other services.
