I think this was a one-time event. Not sure if they’ll make it a yearly thing, but it was great! $ 10 buys you 2 small cups of gelato &3 small cones. Cones were slightly smaller in size than the cups, but definitely enough to enjoy the flavor & texture of each gelato. Vendors from Alaska, Canada, California, Chicago, and other cities were here to show off their best gelato. Glad they made a stop in Austin– looks like they’ll be going to Germany next, and then later even to Dubai. I personally LOVELOVELOVED Carmen Angelo Ricciardi’s Maple Brown Butter Pecan. So much that I used my last ticket to eat another serving of his gelato. It’s made with organic ingredients & alaskan sea salt. Tasted like a mixture of Hopdoddy’s Salted Caramel shake & Pecan Praline ice cream. DELICIOUS. Other favorites: Banana Foster, Carmastachio Friends’ favorites: Chocolate orange liqueur If they come again, I’d be game: D
