The sushi was absolutely amazing, and made fresh. Thai tea was really great as well. The waitress was super helpful and the music playing in the background was upbeat yet relaxing at the same time.

I love their buy one get one half off deal! Or what they would like to call their happy hour! My absolute favorite is the cherry blossom. Staff is very kind. Shop is a little small, but very good.

Prices are okay little bit high for the amount you get, slow service, not the worst I’ve ever had so I would go back

Bento box for lunch was excellent. Sushi rolls were just ok… The rice wasn’t cooked quite right.

Friendly employees, tasty rolls, cold beer, comfortable seating. I ordered the $ 22.99 all you care to eat roll special and left full and satisfied with the quality of the food and the service. Perfect place to go if your hungry and in the mood for sushi rolls.

I’ve been coming here for years now, Since back when they used to have the graffiti on the walls. let me just say Get the apps and the roils and you will be just fine, Lion King roll, Dragon roll, Veggie tempura roll, Heart Time roll, Salmon Surprise, Yellow dream. All delicious. Their all you can eat option is affordable and lets you sample 40 different rolls. The rolls are better than the nigiri here. That being said, this is a KOREAN owned SUSHI restaurant, they have good sushi and good Bulgogi and appetizers. DON’T come here expecting excellent sesame chicken and Ramen.

This one is hard to write. Customer service was absolutely phenomenal. The food however, I have to leave a review about. The fish was decent. It tasted how I expected it to. Nothing great but better than fast sushi from a grocery store. Anything that came in a roll that har been fried however tasted as if the oil had not been changed in a week. Gritty, foul, old. The taste of the tempura masked any flavor from shrimp or soft shell crab. I would return if they fixed that problem. Considering price it was okay. But it concerns me that if they aren’t changing the oil which is tasted like, what else is not being replace or cleaned? I hate making assumptions. The girl who helped us was wonderful. I didn’t say anything about the terrible fried food though. Wish I had.

After eating at this place, I had food poisoning for an entire week. ENTIREWEEK! I have never had food poisoning this bad in my entire life. For those of you who are not familiar with food poisoning, let me describe the experience to you. First day: gurgly, vocal belly + cramps Second/Third day: fever and aches, so much poop like you would not believe, once every hour Fourth-Seventh day: You think it’s a fart, but it’s never just a fart. The toilet becomes a place of worship as you pray for solid poop. Seventh day+: Functions slowly return to normal, but you still get a couple bonus poops here and there. Needless to say, my gastronomic flora will never be the same. I will never take solid poop for granted again.

I go to geishas sushi whenever I want some salmon sashimi. They really got some really delicious salmon sashimi and rolls.

Very bad ramen, disgusting. Instant noodles with scrap brown meat chicken. They jacked up the prices for sxsw. I feel like a chump. You have no idea how bad it was. I want to throw up. I would give no stars but thats not possible.

Pretty good place to kick it and grab some good sushi. it’s in the thick of things so it’s easier to get to or stumble to than most places. just be nice to your hostess and they will accommodate just about anything.

I’ll write a more in depth review when I have time. Suffice to say, I just spent $ 80 on nasty sushi. There are tons of places within a stones throw that you will not regret eating at. I regret the decision to eat here.

I had originally intended to go to Daruma Ramen that day, but being new to Austin and relatively unfamiliar with it, I vastly underestimated it’s popularity. Being on a bit of a time crunch and not wanting to wait for a spot, I wandered next door to Geisha Sushi. There are some definite pros to this place, like it being relatively cheap and not crowded for a place on 6th. Since there were only two other occupied tables in the place, I got a decent amount of attention from the one server who was working. However, the quality isn’t as great as some of the other nearby locations. I ordered the ramen, which was ok, but nothing to write home about. There weren’t many ramen options(which is fine, since this isn’t primarily a ramen place), and the flavor is pretty reminiscent of instant ramen you could make at home(I’m pretty sure there is a picture of one of the instant ramen brands on a sign out front, so I really should have expected that). They do add in a few veggies and you can add an egg for $ 1, but it looks like a poached egg rather than the soft boiled kind, so it isn’t as pretty as I expected it to be. If I go back to 6th and get tired of the lines again, I would definitely return. This isn’t the kind of place I would go to on purpose, since parking on 6th can be a hassle and if I pay for parking, I want the experience to be worth it, but if you’re ever on 6th and need a really quick meal, keep this place in mind.

So I’m from Houston and a group of friends and I came in after an event. We didn’t want to walk too far and this was one of the places that opened late. Came in at 11pm with a group of people which was only 5 people including me. The thing I noticed was that there was only one lady who was both the host and server and who cleaned up after everyone. There was a table meant for 6 people and we wanted to stay together so we asked to sit there. She looked frustrated and said no to us and that she didn’t want to clean the table and asked is to split up. First of all, it’s pretty upsetting that my group and I had to split up and the customer service was really in the beginning. There were other tables on the sides that seemed like it was meant for 2 people to sit. Granted it’s a small place in downtown but there were obviously tables in the middle big enough for a group of people. We ending up splitting different tables and I would say 15 minutes later she cleans up the table and another group of 5 people sit in the middle table. The table where we initially wanted to sit. Obviously that really made me frustrated. Food was meh. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Maybe we just went at a bad time. Literally.

Visiting Austin for a conference and came back a second night for dinner. Great food! Never would’ve guessed downtown Austin had such good authentic Japanese food!

Went here last night for dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, the décor inviting and the food delicious. We ordered rolls a la carte(might try the all you can eat next time … but I can’t eat much). Our rolls were fresh, unique and did I mention fresh? We will gladly return.

Not an exciting sushi restaurant, but it’s a good place for conversation in a part of the city that is usually loud and crowded.

For Austin it’s just ok. I wouldn’t have the all you can eat. Good thing I just ordered a few rolls and stuck with my udon noodle soup. I’ve had more authentic Japanese.
