Some experiences haven’t been the best, I felt judged when returning used games despite it’s in their policy to return within 7 days! But recently, the staff’s been really nice. They’ll even mention their policy and make returns pain free and easy. Plus, I don’t feel as upsold as I usually do at other Gamestops. Kudos for hiring good employees!

Anytime I need anything video game related I go here for the specific reason because I know if they don’t have what I want they will find it this store has the best staff in my opinion than any other GameStop in town, plus the manager there I’m drawing a blank on his name right now, but I have gotten a lot of help and information about things I am purchasing and looking for from this person. I highly recommend this location, it may be smaller than most of the locations however customer service will always win my business, and they’ve shown it time and time again.

Worst customer experience I can recall. Went in to buy an XBOXONE just now. The tattooed guy behind the counter didn’t acknowledge me standing at the counter for awhile. When he finally did, I asked him a question about th console. He asked what other games I was buying besides the Halo pack that came with the console. I told him none. And he scoffed. He said nobody buys the XBOX just for Halo. So pretentious. I told him I was one of those rare people. Then he shooed me aside to help another customer who was selling back some games. He proceeded to talk so aggressively and rudely to that guy that I just left. Don’t want to give my money to a business that so clearly doesn’t want it.

Hands down this place has the best customer service of any retail location in Austin. Lived here for 4 years now and seriously the customer service here is unreal. I feel like I’m talking to a friend and not a salesperson. Love it and buying all my preorders here.

I buy all my games from this location. I saw the one of the employees tell a customer the wrong trade in amount and in return made up the difference. To me that shows an employee that cares about his business and customer service. Highly recommended.

It’s your typical Gamestop. They will constantly try to upsell you and suggest you buy worthless crap you don’t need. However, they usually offer the best preorder bonuses, so I shop here anyway. If you don’t have the willpower to say no, then you should never walk into any Gamestop. «Would you like the strategy guide for a 10% discount?», «Would you like to preorder Gaylo 12 even though it hasn’t even been announced yet?», «Would you like to bow down to our lord Satan and sell your used games for pennies so we can make huge profits on them?». You will likely be asked some variation of all of those questions every single time you walk into any Gamestop. Have your«No» gun locked and loaded, because you will definitely need it. I guess what I am saying here is that Gamestop sucks ass… yet I still shop here for some reason… what the fuck is wrong with me?
