I wish I could give Dr Wachtman 10 stars!!! I had to have emergency surgery last year and was referred to Dr Wachtman through the ER. I can’t believe how lucky I was to find such an awesome doctor.
After an unfortunate dog bite that severed one of the nerves in my palm, I saw Dr Wachtman on a Monday. He was very attentive and sympathetic to everything going on. He asked what my lifestyle was like (avid dirt bike and motorcycle rider), what my goals were (Honeymoon was planned 3 weeks away) and wanted to help me do everything possible so I could meet my short and long term goals. My husband and I had a belated Honeymoon planned 21 days from my injury date. I’d been looking forward to swimming with stingrays in Antiqua for months and it was looking like that was not going to happen. Instead of thinking I was silly or unreasonable for still wanting to that, Dr Wachtman promised to do everything he could and I’d hopefully still be able to swim with the stingrays.
Sure enough, I got to swim with my stingrays and had an amazing Honeymoon. Three months later I was able to ride dirt bikes again and had 80% strength back in my hand. At 7 months I had full function and strength back. I highly recommend Dr Wachtman for any surgery that you need.
