The staff was nice, but if you’re looking for NY style pizza, this is not the place. The dough is too soft and the sauce is way too sweet. The garlic bread was tasteless and on some weird type of bread that wasn’t even close to Italian bread. I won’t be going here again.

Great food but my server was rude. If you have a lot of time and know what you want it’s a great place for lunch.

I am surprise by the low rating for this place — I love their pizza! My go-to spot used to be Rounders, but their quality has gone way down hill in the last year or so. We decided to give Frank & Angie’s a shot since its across the street from where we live — great decision! We’ve done carry out and dine in and both experiences have been nice. The only thing I dislike is that they only have two pizza sizes — 18″ and 10″. I wish there was a smaller option in the middle for two people to easily split.

I’m a fan. Had the pizza once, probably won’t have it again. Just because there are so many good pizza joints in Austin. We go here for the lasagna. It is beyond words amazing. seriously, so good. It comes out in a ramekin right out of the oven so it stays in its place and the CHEESE! It’s baked on top and oh Jeeze, just get it– packed with sauce and the right amount of meat. I recommend an order of garlic bread to go with. Also they have really good lunch specials. Love you guys!

Good pizza, very nice staff and a good bang for your buck. I went here last week for lung with a coworker who is from New York and his family owns a pizza shop that he grew up in so he clearly knows a thing or two about pizza. Needless to say, we will both be back because we were very pleased!

Went with a group from work to enjoy lunch together. Place hasn’t changed since the last time I went in college, about 20 years ago. Pizza was solid. Crust wasn’t my favorite, but the sauce and toppings were good. Lunch special was a good deal as a slice and a salad was exactly what I wanted. They have plenty of parking, which goes really far in this town. Good spot for lunch.

We love Frank & Angie’s! My husband and I just had our rehearsal dinner there for about 30 people. We had the back room all to ourselves, which was so nice! The staff is very friendly! The pizza is delicious! We have been there twice. Both times had the margarita pizza, with delicious chunks of garlic. Speaking of garlic, their garlic bread is delicious! We also ordered cheese pizza, a vegetable specialty pizza that has eggplant(very good) and pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni pizza was the best I have ever had! Which is saying a lot, because like a typical American gal, I have had a lot of pepperoni pizza in my day. There is a great Texas beer selection too and the price is good. The wine list looks great, but we did not order off of that. I highly recommend going! It is laid back environment, in walking distance to a lot of great bars on 6th st.

I don’t remember why I gave them four stars when I first reviewed several years ago. But that was an oversight. This is still one of the best pizzas in Austin all this time later.

The real surprise here is that Frank & Angie’s has it’s own parking lot?!(this is great if you’ve ever tried to park on west 6th!) Once inside, you fell like your in a little Italian pizzeria. My wife started with cheesy garlic bread, then spilt the Pavarotti pizza and a Francis Ford Capacolla sandwich. Both were excellent! The pizza is thin crust and comes in a 10″ or 18″ variety, while the sandwich’s are plenty to fill you up on their own. Highly recommended, might even carry-out next time?!

Frank & Angie’s is pretty damn good. Their cheese bread and spaghetti marinara are pretty fantastic. The pizza is also good. Note to vegetarians: they have veggie meatballs! They aren’t amazing but are good. The staff is also very nice, you will have a great time!

It’s not the most flavorful pizza around but it’s pretty good. I like the large garlic cloves, but even those seem to have less flavor than normal.

Favorite Pizza in Austin, just behind Huts Burgers to me it’s a little hidden gem. The staff is always super friendly too

So the pizza is nothing special, but Frank & Angie’s has been there for a long time and it has quite a bit of charm!

What I like about Frank & Angie’s is they are really great when hosting a large group for lunch. And they have free parking in a decent sized lot in the heart of W. 6th. I have been here about 3 times now with a group of approximately 20 for lunch, and they are happy to pull together a big table for us on the back patio and to give us each separate checks. I takes a little over an hour, all told, but that is pretty remarkable given the group size and separate checks. I usually get the lunch special which is a salad with bread and a slice with your choice of 2 toppings. I believe it’s about $ 7.00, which is good deal considering that you get sit down table service and the salad is a pretty large. I really enjoy their house vinaigrette as well. Their pizza is good, not mind-blowing but I ate every bite of it including the crust(I’d describe it as NY style). I don’t go out of my way to come here with a small group, but for an office lunch or a large group, they do it better than just about any place I’ve been in this price range.

In the immortal words of Tommy Lasorda, «sex is like pizza, when it’s good it’s great, when it’s bad it’s still pretty good« Frank and Angie’s is between the two. Opt for the thinner crust and sometimes a bit saucy. But still tasty and friendly and ok for kids. I once had a garlic pizza. That was delicious but I had to be in solitary confinement for three days. I’d go 3 ½ stars but can’t on the app

I tried Frank and Angie’s a couple years ago and remember not being very impressed but I live right next door so I thought I’d give it another go. The place is adorable. It’s got the mom & pop shop feel and its full of little Sinatra trinkets, but the pizza just isn’t that good unfortunately. We had the cheese bread which was tasty, but the margarita pizza was flavorless. It had big garlic gloves on it but they were not fresh tasting, they were mushy. The tomato slices on it had no flavor to them. I really wanted to like this place but I just really didn’t enjoy the food.

Great food, such a cozy little spot, and the service was great. I recommend getting the garlic bread, like no garlic bread I’ve ever had!

I like this place, although parking is a tough one(at least when I went). I had pizza and I enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and attentive. I like the feel of the place– it was neat but still had an old-timey charm to it. New York style I think. Great place; would recommend!

I really appreciate that Frank & Angie’s is a casual, laidback dining experience despite being surrounded by new Austin highrises and trendy, expensive restaurants. For under $ 20 we got a pizza that stretched into about 4 meals, one slice was enough for an entire dinner for me! We had the Pavarotti, which is great as long as you enjoy tons and tons of roasted garlic.

Frank & Angie’s hit the spot after a long, cold, grey day of studying and kitchen remodeling. We didn’t want to get dressed up/washed up for a fancypants dinner at Botticelli’s, so we biked here for a less formal meal. Service was great. Our server was understanding about the pregnant lady ordering water and kept it coming. She also went over the ingredients in my entrée to make sure I was cool eating all of them. My entrée was the baked ziti which, while not my mom’s, was pretty close and was just what I was looking for. We also got a 10″ Chairman of the Board pizza to share. The crust and sauce was okay, but they hit the mark on the toppings, which made it all come together!(I can’t stand when you get upcharged $ 2 for like, 6 pieces of pepperoni.) While we were there, we also noticed a family with 4 – 5 kids, an older couple who looked about retirement age, and a large party of young adults, so I think its safe to say this place accommodates a wide variety of clientele.
