Absolutely horrible service! Employees are NOT trained(couldn’t duplicate my ticket) and management expects the customers to know they keep limited change in the register. I tried a second payment method(a card) and employee could not pull the ticket. They then ask me to get change from neighboring business’, after two denied attemps, I gave up. Rediculous! CYNTHIALUNA is the manager, do yourself the favor and avoid the hassle of dealing with undercompetent people.

My wife and I have been using this location for over two years. Cynthia in the mornings does amazing job — very friendly and courteous. We’ve had plenty of clothes dry cleaned and laundered, including white dress shirts, bedspreads and comforters. Everything is great, and can’t recommend them highly enough.

Service is good and good turnaround, prices are high for area(about what I pay near NYC on jobs there), and the folks manning it are often a bit sullen. Go if its convenient but don’t expect friendly service or any price breaks

Not sure what everyone is talking about bad service. I just took a few items here and so far I’m impressed. I guess I will see what happens when I pick the items up. I’m new to the area, so I decided to go here after reading a couple good reviews on google. The lady was very helpful. She described my options in great detail and I felt that she really wanted to give me the most information necessary to make a good decision on the care of my clothes. I told her to go ahead and do what the items recommended. About 5 minutes after I left she called me and said the clothing had a couple options, she then explained them to me and recommended what I should do. So far I’m a fan…

After the experience I had with my previous dry cleaner, I searched Unilocal(of course!) for another cleaner in my area. The review for Four Sons Quality Cleaners(which had not yet been filtered out at that time) was positive and exactly what I wanted in a cleaner! So I really gave them a try — every 2 weeks for 6 months! Really wish now that I had paid closer attention to Kathryn B’s review. Frustration! Initially, I had very high hopes for this cleaner. It’s located in a nice(clean), new location close to my home. For the most part the cleaning and finishing is very good(which is why I gave a 2nd star), but about every third or fourth time the clothes would come back with stains remaining and double creases in the sleeves(in every shirt — weird, huh? So no 3rd star) But then there’s the service, the service is atrocious, and it only gets progressively worse. First, the lady behind the counter never remembers your name. You have to spell it 2 or 3 times(every time) and even after she pulls it up on the computer, she still cannot quite get your first name correct. They also cannot manage to get the starch correct — even though it is also in their computer and she has you confirm your preference every time you bring in clothing. My husband prefers light starch and was less than thrilled when all of his khaki shorts came back with heavy. I have to admit that I did laugh about that one — until the next time I took them in and pointed out that they mistakenly had used heavy starch and it was only supposed to be light. The lady behind the counter did not offer any remedy or even apology for the mistake. A few hours later I received a voice mail from her letting me know that they were putting medium starch in the shorts for me because she noticed it was wrong in the computer — it said«light» but obviously the shorts were at least a medium so she was«fixing» it for me. Arghhh! Second, it takes forever to drop off cleaning. If you are female and bringing in clothes, you must have them separated into laundry and dry cleaning stacks or she will stand there waiting for you to look at each of the tags and separate them. Maybe not a big deal, but seriously though, when a guy comes in she asks, «how many of each,» and when he says he doesn’t know, she instructs him to leave the pile for her to sort! I have been spoiled because my previous cleaner did that for me(and like this cleaner, they were not inexpensive). The other thing she does when you are just trying to run in and quickly drop off laundry, is «punish» you if your husband does not unbutton his shirts, sleeves, back pants pockets. She makes you stand there while she undoes every single one of them before she will give you your claim ticket. It is painful if you are in a hurry and already had to stand there and sort the laundry. Third, this has not happened to me(yet!) but I have witnessed it twice — and the second time was when I decided I had better get out now! When you go to pick up your cleaning, if they have lost a shirt(and she even acknowledges that there are not the same number in the package as on your claim ticket), you still have to pay for the lost one! More incredulous is that she was actually able to intimidate both of the guys it happened to into paying for the cleaning of the lost shirts!!! She told them she would call them to pick up the shirts when she was able to locate their shirts! …I simply cannot use enough exclamation points to express my disbelief, amazement, consternation, whatever, that she got away with it! Fourth, this cleaner is expensive. Even if you print out coupons and take shirts in on shirt day and pants in on pants day, they have all these $ 1 add-ons for fabric type, stitching, pleats, everything. The disappointing thing is that I would happily pay their premium prices if I didn’t have to sort my husband’s laundry, unbutton his buttons, and then be treated like a child who needs to be taught how to do laundry. Truthfully, I have no desire to deal with my husband’s laundry, I want her to do it for me, and I would be willing to pay just about anything for that at this point. But that is obviously not happening at this Four Sons.
