This place has a yummy variety of M.E. favorites. I love the lamb shank and eggplant hummus. The food is very authentic but buffet style. I’m not big on buffets but this place is very clean and organized. Would def recommend and price is reasonable.

I’ve always enjoyed this place… but I have to say that this visit is the best yet. The food is always fresh, clean, and delicious. But today, everything was also piping hot and just perfect. They even had some of the slightly toasted gyro meat I like. This was my 8 year old son’s first trip here too… and while he was apprehensive at first, he agrees with dad, Dimassi’s is Delicious!

Great place to go for an informal lunch. The choice and quality of the buffet food available is amazing for the price you pay, especially if you can get a Groupon voucher. It’s very much a café style environment, but go in with an open mind and you will enjoy.

Update: They killed the kids eat free nights. Makes eating at this place a little too rich for my blood now.

Came here for the first time on a Groupon. The selection is good and the food is fresh which you don’t always see from a buffet. The gyro meat is delicious! The baklava is a little small but tastes so good. You won’t be disappointed with your meal!

The food is solid. I love fried cauliflower. You can also get a lot of variety. Many good vegetarian options. The owner isn’t very friendly though. The ambient is also ok. Good for quick lunch or to-go.

This place has a large variety of foods and price is really cheaper than other Mediterranean restaurants. they also offer tea, coffe, soft drinks, rose water. i really liked the chicken kabab, fried drumsticks was not that good. the lamb sank and rice were really good. and also they have good variety of dessert. the rice cake and baklava were so mouthwatering. definitely worth every penny.

The food is SO good! If you love Mediterranean food, this is your dream come true. They always have fresh pita bread and baklava. They charge you when you’re leaving so if you come in at the end of lunch, you may pay the dinner price.(It’s only a dollar more though.) They had lamb on a Tuesday when we came last, so it’s not just weekends.

My latest experience there had been a great one. So good that we came back on the next day. The restaurant is much cleaner and the food is fresh and tasty. Good value all around.

This is the best place for a variety of meats, fresh salads, and rice! I’ve been coming here for years, it closed for a bit and I’m so glad it re-opened. The food is even better now in my opinion! They bake their pita bread in a fire oven inside and it comes out super soft; they also make crunchy pita chips which are perfect with their yummy hummus! The owners are really nice and the décor is so beautiful inside. Definitely one of my faves here in Austin!

We took advantage of their Groupon deal this past weekend and we were pleasantly surprized! The variety of food this place had to offer was plently, and delicious. Yes, the ambience is a little lack-luster, but the quality of food you are getting for the price makes this place hard to beat. Here are some of their items we liked: 1) Tabbouleh salad 2) hummus 3) lentil soup 4) Their rice offerings 5) lamb shank 6) baklava Their bread is freshly baked in their brick oven which is great. The price of their buffet includes drinks(sodas, iced teas, rose water, hot tea etc…) Not a bad place.

If you need a place to take a group for less than $ 15/person, there’s not much better than Dimassi’s! I’ve eaten here so many times that the manager occasionally tells me that I’ve been here more than him for the week, ha! When I need healthy«fast food» and I’m by myself, it’s also a great choice — I can get in and out within 15 minutes or less. Here’s what else I love about Dimassi’s: they have tons of meat and vegetarian choices, and they clearly list all the ingredients for each dish on their buffet. I can take just about all my friends here, whether they’re gluten-free, paleo, vegan, vegatarian, or carnivores(my boyfriend loves the lamb shank they have on weekends). Items are prepared very consistently. A few of my favorites are the cauliflower, the cucumber salad, and the gyro. The staff is also very friendly, if at times a little shy. There’s ample parking in the adjacent lot and it’s easy to access off of 183 or Jollyville. One more thing: they also offer take-out by the pound, if you want to grab dolmas or hummus for a party, or maybe something for a fast week-night meal.

I must be a fan because I keep going back. The people are really nice. It’s a buffet so there isn’t exactly any service to write home about. Sometimes the tables are sticky; I think the cleaning crew could use a little encouragement. But the falafel is good, and they have everything vegan labelled so.(In fact the baklava is vegan!) The bread is fresh baked and delicious. If you ask, they’ll make coffee fresh. For some reason not a lot of people(seem to) drink coffee here.

As the description says«A-OK.» I’ve not been to any Mediterranean buffets before so this was a first. I think I would like this place a lot more if I were vegetarian or vegan. There are plenty of quality salad options and non meat entries that should leave them satisfied. The meats I have found to be consistently dry and flavorless. I was hoping for some more meat entries but they don’t seem to switch up the buffet during the weekdays so it’s always the same. From what I remember there was gyro, chicken, and really hard kabab. I don’t think I would hesitate to bring any vegan or vegetarian friends here but it’s just not a place I would frequent otherwise. I do want to say, unlike some other buffets I’ve been too, no one passive aggressively harasses you to finish and leave after your 3rd or 4th plate so I appreciate that.

I would highly recommend this place! They have a variety of tasty options. If you are a fan of lamb, I would recommend going for dinner on the weekends. They bring out lamb shanks that are exquisite. The meat falls off the bone, it is so good! The hummus is creamy and very flavorful! Grilled veggies, fresh pita, soups, chicken and the list goes on and on! The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that they are slow to clean up the tables. I have gone a few times and find that the tables have not been cleaned up. For me, that is a minor thing. Easy fix. Enjoy!

Dimassi’s totally blew my socks off. Even though it’s in my neighborhood, I had always avoided Dimassi’s because a friend gave it a poor recommendation. It seems like it’s had a checkered past. Well, that’s old advice because now, Dimassi’s rocks! The place was PACKED when we stepped into Dimassi’s on Saturday night at 6pm for the first time. What we saw and tasted was heaven. The restaurant features two long buffet tables, one for cold dishes and one for warm dishes. From the cold dishes, I enjoyed the cabbage salad, greens salad, baba ganoush, myriad sauces like hummus, garlic sauce, yogurt sauce, tzatziki sauce, chickpea salad, and the dolmades were delicious, too. I don’t even like baba ganoush but I loved Dimassi’s. From the warm dishes, the roasted eggplant, okra in tomato sauce, and green beans in tomato sauce stood out. A couple of yummy lentil soups can be found, and don’t miss the rose-rice pudding. Fresh pitas populate the corner of the buffet, toasted in the wood burning stove a step away. Soft drinks, rose water, coffee, tea, excellent baklava and cookies are all included. Did I mention that the price is reasonable too? The interior is a bit eccentric but comfortable. Dimassi’s owner usually welcomes us to the restaurant, and later escorts us out to make a comfortable end to an evening well spent.

Well after my first time going to this place I fall in love with the food. Butttt This is the funny part. After I take my family almost every other Sunday I realize that this people are not serving those lamb shuck anymore and the reason was on my first time it was around 3 pm and There was lamb shuck In that day well so I ask the guy for it and he bring one to my table so on my next visit I ask same guy for one lamb shuck and he told me that they only serve those after 5pm it was around 4:30 pm. Well well please take notes if you are planing to go to this place for some lamb shuck call before to make sure you get what they suppose to have in there menu One more thing menu price is same with out lamb shuck 13.99 per person include tax

Don’t let the old strip mall exterior fool you… give this place a try! $ 14/person(aftertax) on a Sunday lunch. All you can eat & drinks included & desserts included. If you’re hungry, this is a really good deal! Great for vegetarians & for those looking for some fiber in your diet. What I really appreciated about this place: –GREATFORGROUPS! A ton of seating for big parties available. Party of 10? No problem! — They keep it clean! Lots of buffet places look messy & food looks picked over & the buffet lines have food everywhere. But this place keeps it clean & tidy & food looking fresh! Favorite items to eat: — Freshly baked pita bread(from a hot fire oven that you see right when you walk in) — Lamb shank– they didn’t have gyros like the other reviews mentioned but their lamb shank was AMAZING. It fell off the bone & was juicy & tender & flavorful. — Roasted/fried? cauliflower! Yum. Everyone loved this. — Fried chicken– surprisingly crispy & delicious. Even better when dipped in hummus/garlic sauce. — Grilled veggies– jalapeño peppers, onions, zucchini, squash — Hummus — Garlic sauce– it jiggles like jello & doesn’t look appetizing, but TRYIT! It’s really good, especially if you mix half and half with the hummus. I pretty much ended up eating it on everything. — Falafels– flavorful & crispy on the outside. Just how they should be. What I wasn’t a huge fan of: — Their steam/baked fish– not too flavorful & a bit dry — Chicken kebab– dry and hard to chew Everything else was pretty okay! But I’ll definitely stick to my favorites next time since I only have so much stomach space. :)
