I had a horrible experience with this company. I’m very unhappy with the service I received throughout the loan process. I had minimal communication from anyone throughout this process, despite phone calls from me and my realtor. My home insurance information was given to them far in advance but they chose to do nothing with it until the absolute last minute when I know it should have been taken care of much sooner. They claimed was a problem contacting the insurance representative so I had to call myself from work and had no problem getting a hold of them. I work, just like everyone else so I’m not sure why I was doing their job when I should have been doing my own. Then, they didn’t proof their work and sent incorrect information to the Title company with which led to me having to close a day late. This was an enormous inconvenience to me since I had already asked for time off work and then had to do it again! Additionally, I received an email from them asking if anyone knew where my file was and then an offensive forwarded junk email from the same person the next day. Then, at the time I was originally scheduled for signing at closing, I got a phone call letting me know that I would need to shell out even more money for a survey that should have been taken care of far in advance. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received and they didn’t even seem the slightest bit remorseful when I told them about it. The only reason I got my keys on time is because I sent a nasty email threatening to call someone’s supervisor, the BBB and anyone else I could think of to tell them about my experience with them. My calls and emails were ignored through most of the closing process and the interest rate on the paperwork at the end was not what we had discussed. After 6 weeks of this, I was so tired and defeated, I just signed it to end the whole thing and didn’t even care that it was half a percentage point higher than what they had offered me.
