I had the worst experience at this salon and will NEVER return. My sweet, loving husband purchased a Groupon good for a Brazilian Blowout Zero for our wedding anniversary. I was very excited about this keratin treatment. My hair has always been very curly and frizzy. I made an appointment at the Hills Salon and Spa with Cristina Crawford. When I arrived, Cristina asked me what I expected from this treatment. I told her that I wanted my hair to be less frizzy, but I still liked the curl and was okay with the fact that some of it may stay after the treatment was complete. She then said to me that I would be very happy with the results. I would still have some curl, but the frizz would be gone. The whole ordeal took over 2 hours. When I left, my hair looked great! I purchased the overpriced shampoo and conditioner, and left a nice tip. With the groupon, hair products, and tip, the Brazilian Blowout Zero cost almost $ 300. Cristina told me I didn’t have to do anything special to it and that I could wash it the next day. She said the curl would be there, but the frizz would be gone. She again told me that I would be really happy with the results. The next morning, I was SO excited to wash my hair and see what I had just paid a pretty penny for. Boy, was I disappointed! My hair looked horrible and was as frizzy as ever! Now, when you give someone this much money, you expect to see results. My husband was VERY angry and got in touch with Cristina. She told him that she told me that this treatment would not work on my hair and that she had suggested another treatment. She said that I told her to do it anyway. THIS MAKES NO SENSE! Why would I pay for something that I was told would not work? She lied about it and would not refund my money. I had to ask Groupon to refund it, which they did. I was able to return the overpriced products, but they would not give me back the tip that I left for Cristina. And, yes, I was angry enough to ask for it back. Cristina was dishonest and she happily collected her money. She did offer to do the treatment again, for another $ 100. YEAH RIGHT! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Cristina Crawford does an amazing Brazilian Blowout. I chose this salon after seeing a groupon flying by for a BBlowout. Cristina was up front about the results I could expect for my hair type and how long it would last.
She was very attentive during the washing as well as blowdrying process, checking in often on whether I was comfortable,
if the temp was too hot or if she was pulling too hard. She styled my hair beautifully with body and slight curl.
I waited to write this review until after washing it at home and letting it air dry, and I must say I am very happy with the results of the process. My hair went from coarse, thick and curly to smooth, thick and wavy. Love it! As an added bonus, I got to dig into Cristina’s tamale plate and feast while my hair was being worked on. :)
