Prices were good. Nice select of beers. The staff was very helpful in the recommendations since there’s so many to pick from.

I really enjoyed Craft Pride. They had a large selection of taps listed by type of beer, which I always appreciate. There were a good number of people there when I went but I didn’t have to wait too long and the bartenders were friendly. The interior décor was nice, dark and intimate, but it was a nice day so I decided to go outside. The courtyard was a great place to relax. I didn’t have any pizza but I had heard it was good and many people seemed to be there mainly for 313. There was a live band playing which made for an even more relaxing atmosphere.

Came on a Friday night and it was packed. Wait for the pizza truck was more than 1.5 hours but 45m later I got my pizza, and it’s pretty solid. Even with all the hectic, I asked the bartender to custom build me a flight of his choice, and he totally did! I was super impressed that he took the time to really think about a solid flight of Austin beers for me considering there was a line behind me waiting to get their beer. Told him so also. A live band was playing and they were good. The atmosphere is pretty hip and a beautiful blond actually hit on me while I was waiting in line.

Tossing my 2 cents in the chorus of praise for this place, top notch! Had my first introduction to sour beers here, check em out! Blue Owl on draft, and if you like that you can head over to their brewery on Caesar Chavez and get 412 oz pours for 15 bucks! The pizza truck, if on par with their other truck at Violet Social Club dishes out some GOOD pizza too. Wish I had a place like this at home.

Great time at this super cool spot. We walked along Rainey looking for a place to stop in to have a drink and all along the way we saw overcrowded, really loud joints with what looked like kids(20-somethings…same thing). Happily, at the end of the road – literally – was Craft Pride. We scored a great spot outside where grown ups were enjoying their beers without blaring music and ridiculously loud talking. Hanging out here with a couple beers each was the perfect way to spend a late Sunday afternoon.

If you want lots of great tap beer options, a nice outdoor space to enjoy your cold brew and a delicious pizza to quench your hunger this is your bar. Located on Rainey street, this is a definite winner in our book. We enjoyed a variety of beers and ordered a pizza from the food truck out back. The backyard seating area is nice and they have a nice covered porch as well. The bar staff is very knowledgable and will guide you to your perfect beer. Cheers!

Great place to hang and get a craft beer! Tons of choices on tap. TONS. Via 313 in the back for pizzas. I had to wait an hour for a pizza but it was all good. Got a text and picked it up without waiting around like a hangry cat. I tried the Apricot Sour. Yes, you read this correctly, Apricot Sour beer. Yum, I woulda tried more but had to keep on hoppin’!

Got off to a bad start with the first bartender who obviously couldn’t be bothered. But after enjoying their outdoor patio with some 313 Pizza at the food truck, I went back in for my second beer and was greeted by a different bartender who offered up conversations and suggestions about the beer– yes! That’s more like! If you’re going to specialize in something, be prepared to talk about it! They had a great selection of beers, and I loved they were all local beers– it was a great way for a beer lover like me to taste as many local brews as possible without brewery hopping. The space inside is laid out a little oddly, but I loved the back patio where they had live music and the pizza food truck. And a special thanks to them for answering their phone on a Saturday at 11pm when I realized I managed to leave my credit card there(I was dead sober too, embarrassingly enough) — they assured me it was there and I had no issue picking it up the next day.

Great selection of the locals brews. Tried a mint flavored stout which I am very obsessed with. There is a cool vibe in this place, easy to hang around for hours. Great, convenient location. Great advice on beers and overall service.

good beer. Nice looking bar. Good«off-site» food(pizza from a truck parked outside). Lousy attitude of the bar tender, not welcoming at all. On top of that it was late December and they left the doors open so it was about 40 degrees inside, not comfortable at all. They have good beer, just need to work on the attitude.

This gem at the end of Rainey Street is a must-see for craft beer lovers! 50 craft beers on tap, and they’re ALL brewed in Texas! Local only in this bar! The bartenders are very knowledgeable and will help you select a beer you haven’t tried before. They have flight options, but for the price($ 12 for a pre-selected flight of 5 beers, $ 15 or more to build your own), I would recommend against it. Just ask the bartender what to order, and get a pint. If you have a non-beer drinker in your group I think they also serve wine. Décor is beautiful inside, lots of reclaimed wood and a huge Texas on the ceiling. Outdoor seating is great, and in the back they have a cool area with a pizza food truck that was pretty good.

Craft pride serves up a delicious mix of local and regional craft brews with a decent size patio. They usually have a food truck around the patio in case you are in the mood for some grub. When we visited the place, the food truck offered Detroit style pizzas. So, don’t go there for a verity in food, visit because you love beers.

The selection of beer available at this beer bar is pretty effing amazing. Combine that with a killer outdoor space and you have one of the best beer bars I have ever had the pleasure of spending time in. Some Highlights: + Exterior lighting, seating, and atmosphere made for a great time + Amazing selection of local beer, especially some knock-out good sours + Prices were fair! Bonus — the pizza truck was putting out some delicious food.

Boys liked the beers. I got a cider, glad they had one on tap. It was a loud and busy Saturday night, hard to get a table, but obviously the place a lot of people like to go. Great outdoor space. I would definitely stop by here again were I to find myself on Rainey St.

Into craft beer? Into beer flights? Into dark intimate lounge type of venues? Craft Pride is your spot! We were in the mood for a beer and were headed to Bangers, when this little gem caught our eye. We strolled in to find the cutest little venue that had a cozy indoor setting. Imagine a hipster ski lodge; leather seats, wood tables, dark walls and the friendliest staff. We ordered the Hoptimists Flight($ 12) and we were able to sample a variety of local Austin hoppy IPA’s. The have LOTS of craft beer, so pick and choose as you please. Order a pint or a flight — build your own or select a pre-set flight. The options are endless! Stop by here if you’re in the area and are craving a beer or two. If you’re hungry, there are a few places to eat that are close by, but they do have a pizza trailer in the back. Indoor & outdoor seating are available.

Nice place, a good amount of beers to choose from. The only negative was that if the beer listed on the board has an orange dot on it, you cannot get a taste sample of that one. Which was sad because all the cool ones that we weren’t sure we’d like had an orange dot. Not really a big deal, but just sayin’. The bartenders were really good, knowledgable, and fast! The crowd seemed to ebb and flow. At one point they are 4 deep at the bar and a few minutes later nobody is at the bar.

This was my last stop on Rainey Street in the afternoon on New Year’s Eve. I was there about an hour after they opened(about 5pm) and they weren’t very busy yet. They have a great local beer selection and cute little pictures to go with each beer on the bulletin board above the bar. The bartender was knowledgeable about their selection when I asked for a Belgian. She gave me a delicious dubbel that I enjoyed on the patio while watching the revelers walk by. They have cozy tables as well as long high top benches. They also have a bottle shop with a small but good selection of local beer for take out. I bought 2 six packs; one a Beligian IPA and the other and IPA to take back to my hotel with me.

Stellar selection of beer with many being local Texas brews which was a great touch. We visited on the F1 weekend when the powers that be lamely located the«fan zone» at the end of Rainey St. The fan zone was a total bust but luckily, the Rainey st. establishments were a Godsend in relief. It didn’t help that it was pouting rain but with the great beer selection and excellent staff at Craft Pride none of us cared :-)

From the second I landed in Austin, people were telling me I should skip 6th street and head to Rainey instead. Supposedly a bit quieter and more places to hang out rather than rage. My friend mentioned Craft Pride repeatedly as an awesome example of what Rainey St had to offer, so I stopped by before I left town. As the name suggests, Craft Pride is all about the beer. The bartender told me there were 54 crafts and 2 cask taps available. And they were ALL local Texas beers. I personally had no knowledge of Texas beers outside of Lonestar and Shiner, so this was a surprise to me. Even more surprising was how I would put Texas crafts up there with anything else. Luckily, I was there the week after Austin Beer Week, so Craft Pride had even more specialty beers than usual. That’s a big yes. Had a couple of Real Ales, a limited edition sour, and a ton of other wonderful pours. Bartenders were cool. There’s a front yard with a few really cool tables made from solid wood. And a backyard with the 313 pizza truck. All in all a really good time, and a must for all beer lovers.

I had great service by Kevin Bacon! … just kidding. It was Halloween night and we had mingled our way down to the last bar on this strip, Craft Pride. Being Austin Beer Week and all, I saw Craft Pride plastered over many breweries and even on lamp posts, but it wasn’t until I experienced it myself did I know how awesome this was. For those who don’t know, Rainey St is filled with bars that are inside houses, converted to look like party houses /frats. The experience is so very different than going to a bar. It was chill, relaxed, and hangout-ish. The beer list was impressive to say the least, you won’t find any Coors Light or Bud here. The bartenders are knowledgable about their list, and can make some killer recs. The only complaint, maybe not for me, the men’s restroom line is ridiculous :)

I’ve been going to Craft Pride since they opened up a few years ago. I’ve always been pleased by their selection of beers and understand the location does mean bears tend to be pricier. The last few times I’ve been leaving unimpressed due to the attitude of the bar staff. My visit on Saturday, I asked them about some of their new-ish beers from Blue Owl and they just rolled their eyes at the question. In addition it seems it’s tougher and tougher to get any sort of service as only 1(during the day) — 2(during evenings) are working the counter. Yet numerous times I’ve seen other staff in the back room just talking. After ordering only one beer, we ended up just leaving as the service/attitude isn’t worth the price.

The name says everything you need to know. They have a massive selection of local craft brews at the ready. A warm and inviting spot the begs to be the nightcap beer at the end of Rainey st. Top it off with having Via 313 Detroit style pizza on the back patio and you’re golden. If you’re a fan of interesting beers then you have to try craft pride. The ladies and gentlemen behind the bar are, as you’d guess, well versed in the the world of beers and can make some great recommendations for you based on your personal preferences. They also have a room to purchase beer and merchandise. Don’t discount their wine selection either. Definitely give it a go.

Places like this make first timers like me happy. I do enjoy finding my away from bar to bar getting a feel for local scenes, but when it comes to day trips and a desire to try as many beers as possible, I appreciate collectives like this where I can find multiple brews from multiple breweries. The bar itself has a neat feel. Some couches, some high chairs, an unfinished-wood counter. Outdoor space as well. The tables out front and on the side of building are cool. They are rough cut tree trunks and give a nice rugged look. Bonus: Via 313 pizza in the back that you can eat indoors too.

Love this bar. It’s a Texas-only craft beer bar that has TONS of beers on tap. The beer list is also organized by type of beer — so if you’re looking to try something new it’s easy to figure out what to try! Other important fact: a VIA313 food truck is permanently parked in the back of Craft Pride. This Detroit-style pizza is AMAZING. Detroit-style pizza is cooked in square pans — the crust is sort of like Focaccia bread, with cheese melted on top, and then sauce drizzled on top of that! It’s amazing, because the corners get all burnt and delicious. YUM. They have great vegetarian pies, and they offer vegan cheese as well. They have a little seating inside, but the best seating is outdoor on the back patio, because there is often live music(in fact, I think they’ve had live music every time I’ve been there)! One of my favorite bars on Rainey and in Austin!

Easily one of my favorite Rainey Street bars, but there are some other things going on here that make it 5 star worthy… First — they have a huge, huge selection of all kinds of local craft beers. They specialize in getting Texas craft beer at that. Second — the bartenders are always super cool and nice. They always give great suggestions too. Third — it never seems too crowded here. I feel like the rest of rainey street has become over run with tourists and yuppie college kids, but Craft Pride is the place to get away from that when you are on Rainey Street. Fourth — They have one of the best pizza places in the back patio — Via 313! Fifth — I love that you can also buy bottles from the store. I love ciders, so I like to go see what new ciders they have out there. Sixth — It is a cool place to hang out. Great wifi. Great patio and nice inside bar area. Seventh — They have Yellow Rose on tap(the bartenders probably wont recommend this one because they want to save it all for themselves to drink up) Ok so I could probably keep listing out reasons why this place is so awesome, but if you have read down this far you are probably sold and should just go check it out for yourself! I might see you there.

Oh rainy street, how cool are you. Among the bars this one felt homey. It probably was the comfortable couch or their chairs. It’s a bit dark and had a woodsy décor which I love. They had a good selection of beer. Nothing feels better than to relax in a nice atmosphere with no one around except your friends and to enjoy some great beer. This is the life. Definitely a must if you love Craft beer.
