New to the neighborhood and took my mom out to get her nails done. She is recently divorced and is just starting her new life as a single woman. We went to the closest nail shop up the street and the owner Joy made this a wonderful experience. She recommended a full pink and white set for my moms extremely short bitten nails. Everyone was very friendly and turned my moms frown upside down making her nails beautiful.

This is my nails spot — here’s why:
1) Awesome location. Why don’t I move to sunset valley, already? This spot is perfect for after Sunday errands. You could do your groceries, fedex, car wash, bank deposits all in a block’s radius, and then finish out with Cover Nails (they close at 6pm).
2) My coffee pedicure was fantastic, and the polish lasted forever.
3) My gel manicure lasted four weeks, and I would have left it on longer if my nails didn’t grow out. I had asked for 5 – 6 coats (it was a glitter polish), and this poor guy had to spend forty-​five minutes trying to get it off.
4) Service is great. I went in at 5:15 on a Sunday to get my gel off and a new polish. I was the last one there, because it took until about 6:15 to destroy the gel and do a new polish. They never complained or rushed, even though they had to stay open late for me.
This is a GREAT deal at a convenient location. Throw them your business.

Quoted $ 35 but charged me $ 50, nails are crooked, uneven and short (I asked for medium length) she was on the phone and rushing through my nails and 3 of my nails bled the entire time. Worst service I’ve ever experienced, I DO NOT recommend!

Jenny is no longer at Cover Nails… I’m still very sad about that… BUT the ladies who did my pedicure and gels today were fantastic. They took their time, and were fun and very engaging! I still recommend Cover Nails!

Well a friend suggested this salon a while back and now I found out they JUST changed management/​owners. The workers speak very poor English, there are NO MAGAZINES, they cannot explain their menu of services adequately and prices are confusing. Another customer was overcharged because of the polish she selected, although the pricing was not shown. I was quoted $ 23 for a regular pedicure and in the end it was really $ 26. I reminded her 3 – 4 times I just wanted a «Regular» pedicure although she kept doing different things that sometimes cost extra. I told her AGAIN that I was not paying extra. Massage was painful, the woman that did my service had a «heavy hand»…Will not be back!!!

The only reason this place gets a star is that my nails actually ended up looking decent. The place itself is very dirty and I didn’t see him use sanitized tools. The man that did my manicure used the restroom right before he started and DID NOT wash his hands before touching my hands for my manicure. I left there feeling like I needed to go take a shower immediately… EW!

I went there this past mothers day. I got a mani pedi but instead of a basic mani I got gel with polish. The lady who did mine was really rough with her nails scratching me and my fingers were sore. 4 days later my gel nails started to peel off without me doing anything. It’s been a week now since then and they are continuing to peel off. I’m very disappointed because last time I got acrylics and there were a lot of bubbles and looked like press on nails. They are more expensive than other places I’ve been too. I only go there because it is close. But with this past experience with my nails peeling off so quickly, I will not be coming back. I don’t want to waste my money. I didn’t get regular polish because I wanted it to llast. The older man who works there always does a fabulous job though. But I had a heavy set older woman and have had 3 bad experiences with her.

Horrible! I went to get a fill, and the technician had to dig through a drawer to find the clippers. I could see gunk on the clippers. I asked if he was going to disinfect them, and he almost became indignant/​offended that I even asked. He got up and walked over the the pedicure station, found a jar of disinfectant, put the clippers in and motioned like «there, are you satisfied». I got up and walked out. If you value your heath, do not go here!
