Container Bar Food Truck

This food truck is awesome! I usually avoid food trucks that are near bars. They should be a perfect compliment to a night of indulgence and I haven’t found that perfect match until now. Container Bar’s food truck should not be skipped. I dismissed it at first until I saw that some other bar goers had tater tots and wings. This is the food of my people! I was immediately in!
The guy working the truck was pretty cool. I think the food is probably a bit more popular near close. I was able to get my order in 10 minutes. I snagged the ranch dry rub wings and some tater tots. Every thing else on the menu sounded great too. The wings were perfectly cooked. The skin was so crispy and the meat was dripping with juices. I thought six would be enough, but I definitely should have ordered more. Now the tots. This Midwest transplant knows a thing or two about how tater tots should be prepared. Fried potatoes of all varieties are a staple among my people. We even put them in casseroles. So I was pleasantly surprised with how well this kid fried up some tots. I like them fried to a nice brown outside. Some can make the mistake of having the whole tot become mushy, but these had a good fried outer layer that was the perfect shade of brown. I got them loaded with bacon, sour cream, cheese and chives. The grease of both items really went well with my drink.
Pricing wasn’t all that bad either. There’s definitely a bar markup on the food, but it isn’t outrageous. I think I paid around $ 12 for the wings and tots.
If you’re at container bar and want some food, don’t leave the venue. Although there is some great food down the street, don’t discount this food truck’s food. Yes you can get wings anywhere, but these are kwings that will make you score with that sweaty guy/​girl you’ve been grinding on all night. They’re that magical.

I think it’s CLOSED. Everything that I tried was excellent– the shrimp, beef, French fries. It reminds me of east side king, and the service was friendly.

Delicious food! My husband and I tried the pickles, the pork cheeks over noodles, the carrots, and the special, which was their fries topped with the curried brisket and shrimp crackers. Will definitely go back.
