I would not recommend anyone here. The name really does say it all horrible in every aspect you can think of. The manager Jessie is about the worst manager to deal with, he doesn’t understand what customer service is at all. I had the worst experience here and will not be back. If you buy a tv and don’t like it expect to pay a restocking feel. I bought a 3000 tv that I’m unsatisfied with but to get a new one I have to pay $ 425 restocking fee. I don’t think it’s right that I just paid 3000 then have to pay an additional amount. Honestly this is one of the worst experiences iv ever had. Then to top it off I said I just want to return the whole tv back but regardless I have to pay 425 restocking fee. Bad bad company. Conns will con you

This place lives up to their name Conn Artist. They duped me & when I went in to try & get it fixed they refused to even entertain the idea of fixing it. I spoke with Vincent the store manager & he said Conn’s has strict policies and the NEVER deviate from them. I’ve been a customer for 12 plus years at Conn’s but no more and I caution all consumers to go elsewhere for your purchases. They screwed me royally and could care less. Their only objective is to make money and screw the customer. I’m so glad I don’t operate my business this way.

We just bought a 75 inch 4k Samsung tv on 6÷5÷16. Got the tv delivered on 6÷11÷16 it was working fine. Until 6÷12÷16 the tv went black, you can still hear the sound, but no picture. Called Conn’s on 6÷12÷16 and they had to send out a guy to make sure that the tv was broken. 2 guys came on 6÷14÷16 and confirmed it was broken. They said that we would get a new replacement within 24 – 48 hours. That didn’t happen. I called today and the delivery center didn’t have a ticket for a replacement. They had me call the sales rep. The sales rep said to call the service center and that they would know what is going on. They sure didn’t. They said that they couldn’t help me and that I needed the delivery center. So here I go again calling the delivery center and they told me that they need to have a guy come out to check if the tv is broken!!! We just went through this!!! We can’t keep taking time off of work to do the same things over again. But, they said that I would need to call the service center again to schedule that. NOTHING BUT CIRCLES. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Worst customer services experience EVER!!! I am so sick of this, I am just going to return this damn tv. Good thing I haven’t paid for this crap yet. These people need to get trained better on what they are doing. Or re-​evaluate who trained them. Ridiculous!

I have bought several things from this store and I have always been treated with respect. I will be in there soon for a washer and dryer

On ¹²⁄₁₀ or 12÷11÷15 my husband and i bought a new TV and the warranty from Conn’s, on 1÷1÷16 the TV just died, black screen but could still hear the sound. It happened after hours so we had no choice but to wait until the next day to take it in to be serviced. We have had nothing but trouble trying to get updates as to where the TV was going to get fixed since at the time of purchase we were told if its under 50″ bring it in to the store and over 50″ it gets serviced at the house. We have a 43″ LG and we were told they would go ahead and have it fixed there for this time only. On 1÷5÷16 I spoke with Jaime & said we would have our old TV fixed and repaired or a new one by Friday 1÷8÷16. On 1÷6÷16 we kept getting calls to get our tv to be repaired at our apartment, I spoke with Miriam & she canceled the old ticket and made a new one that the tv would be repaired there at the store & that she would email LG if they’ll prove a replacement since it had been under 30 days since purchase. on 1÷8÷16 I called for a update on the tv & spoke with Jaime & he accused me of being a liar saying he never told me we’d have a new tv or our fixed tv on Friday. We went to the store to complain and Edgar the store assistant manager said he can’t help and to call the help desk to make a complaint. on 1÷11÷16 Luke from service called and said wed get our tv hopefully that week. on 1÷14÷16 We called for an update and said no parts were even ordered friday but were that day & would take another 1.5 week to come in and get repaired. Called luke again and left a voice mail, we then called the service line and were told parts were in fact ordered Friday but there was no est. delivery date. Luke called back and said the parts should’ve been delivered that day and we should’ve gotten a call about it being repaired the next day. on 1÷15÷16 we called luke back and he told us one of the parts was backordered until 1÷29÷16 and that he would put in the paperwork to get us a new TV instead. on 1÷18÷16 I called for an update and we were told corporate approved but just waiting for approval from LG. on 1÷20÷16 My husband called for a update and the cashier said our TV was repaired and ready for pickup, so he went to the store got our TV then dragged it up THREE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS to only see our TV was STILL BROKEN. I called the service line and Yvette who i spoke to said the tv was NOT supposed to be released to us and to take it back since approval was still pending from LG. I spoke with the store manager Jesse on the phone and he said he couldn’t do anything but that we can call back Friday to check on the status. On 1÷22÷16 we called for an update and we were told LG denied the request for a replacement because the part became available and would be fixed. On 1÷23÷16 service called my husband stating the TV was approved but we wouldn’t get the TV released to us unless we made our first payment. We told billing we would not be paying until we got the call for our old tv repaired or a new one fixed. We agreed to make the payment and were told that we could go get it from the store. My husband went to the store to go pick up the tv to only be told that no we couldn’t get the tv. We were LIED to to get a payment and thats simply disgusting. The amount of back and forth from this whole company is annoying & highly unprofessional. We want the exact same TV replaced new in box, we’re sick and tired of getting the run around from everyone within this company. You say you do what needed to satisfy your customers but i have not witnessed ONCE any of that

Worst customer service from the store and the corporate office. They take complete advantage of the customer with no reguard, they don’t follow their own return policies and don’t really care if you like it or not. They applied for a credit card for myself without my permission and then deny it, sales people will do whatever they need to make a sale. Don’t go here, I would rather you punch me in the face, then go here.

Very vulture-​type salesmen at this store. Their stuff is generally overpriced compared to other furniture stores. When we pointed out how high the interest rates seemed with financing the salesman repeatedly said «OH NO, NO WAY, ZERO PERCENT INTEREST» until my boyfriend picked up the sign (you can see this on literally any of them) that showed the price, and then the price with payments which is considerably more. He said «oh, that’s 20%, if you don’t get the credit approval, you got me there!»
Why not just be real right off the bat? Between getting creeped on in the store, seeing the high prices (even at 0%), and the salesman trying to be deceptive, we decided we had no interest in buying from Conn’s.

The warehouse/​delivery people have got to be the WORST with customer service! They hung up on me after asking them if I could speak with a manager. Rude! I will not be purchasing anything else from this company!

My sales person was Bill, and he lied to me from jump.
I was approved for $ 5,000 same as cash and they’re having a Labor Day sale which brings their prices in line with other stores. I got an email from Conns right away stating that I had to bring a copy of homeowners or renters insurance in my name. I get it, it’s financed.
I called Bill and said «the insurance is in my girlfriends name, will this be an issue?»
He said «who told you you needed that???» and told me it was NO PROBLEM to just come on down and he would get me all fixed up.
I make 3 trips there, mainly because their fax machine from 1981 can’t scan documents right, so I was asked to bring in my ID numerous times.
After making several trips I decided on what I wanted, a 4K 65inch LG TV, which was actually at Best Buy for around $ 500 more. I was super impressed with their price because normally they totally jack the prices up.
I had given him the insurance docs and all my information earlier so I only had to sign the paperwork.
I signed a couple things and then BAM, Bill’s lies begin to appear.
He said casually «I *had* to add $ 306 here for insurance, go ahead and sign there.
I said WOAH WOAH WOAH, you said my policy would be fine.
I said to Bill «I asked you this specific question before I even came to the store and you told me to bring the policy and come on in». Bill then lied to me again and said «I don’t remember that at all».
I said Bill, not only did we have two conversations about this on the phone and on the couch, but you have my policy right over there in someone else’s name.
I call BULLSHIT.
I totally get the reasoning for paying the insurance like I said, I just didn’t appreciate the lies.
I told Bill that it was pretty shitty for him to try to lie to me.
I told him that I’m not his normal customer: I’m not desperate for a TV and I have good credit. I only went with them because they were cheaper than Best Buy. Period.
As Bill and his manager looked on, I ripped up the contract and left.
I called the Conn’s store north and let them know I would be coming to use my credit there and they told me that Bill had finalized the invoice before even getting my signatures. The invoices are only supposed to be finalized when the contracts are signed. I had to get them to cancel it, which was another nightmare.
I went to the store in Round Rock and they didn’t lie to me, how refreshing.

The staff in the store are OK — high pressure but knowledgeable. I bought a sofa, loveseat, dining room table 4 chairs, a recliner with a ‘massage’ feature and a 6-​drawer chest of drawers. Within 1 month: the massage in the chair stopped working, the legs in 2 of the chairs had 2 of the braces work their way out, making the chairs unstable. When they were glued back in they snapped off. Eventually 3 of the 4 chairs ended up like this (‘don’t put your feet on them’). The drawers in the chest of drawers won’t stay closed — work their way ¹⁄₃ of the way open (now this is some kind of magical feature I’ve never seen). I’ve made 8 payments on time. My girlfriend forgot to make the payment on the 20^th and I’ve had at least 12 phone calls in the 3 days with mindless recorded messages AFTER I spoke to a human being the first time explaining that the payment will be made a mere 1 week late. Stay away from these creeps — they lure you in with these payment plans that balloon into usury after a year if you don’t pay them off EARLY. Stay away from these people — they aren’t called CONNS for nothing and remember that everything that’s on sale is on sale for a reason (defective, over-​stocked junk).

$ 139 delivery fee for a sofa when the salesman said it was $ 77. Sales tax on delivery fee and protection plan when the salesman said it was just on the sofa.
Delivery day and haven’t heard from anyone, so I called the store. My sofa is now out of stock. In stock the day I bought it and they charged it to my credit card. But since I couldn’t have it delivered until today since this is my first day off work since I bought the sofa, they delivered my sofa to someone else who could have it delivered earlier. Won’t ever be shopping here again. Beyond disappointed and frustrated.

Straight up bull crap. Got a $ 500 TV, and have been making payments of $ 102 with a $ 200 deposit yet I still owe like $ 500 on it which is ridiculous. End up paying $ 1500 in total for a crappy ass brand. I suggest best buy from now on. No wonder why this place has bad reviews, bunch of scam artists.

Awesome, hard working staff. I recommend Chris to customers. He is knowledgeable and caring. I purchased a refrigerator from him this evening and Chris remained patient with me throughout the entire process. Thank you Chris.

I feel like this is a store that doesn’t know what it wants to be when it grows up. Imagine if you will a poor man’s Best Buy meets Ashley Furniture meets Target meets Rent-​A-​Center? There is just nothing especially appealing about Conns. You stroll through surprisingly open (read:empty) aisles of seemingly cast off furniture, appliances, and TVs. Nothing is particularly spectacular, nothing is displayed in a way to entice sales, and the prices are higher than the Best Buy across the street. If there is anything remotely going for this place, it’s that they seem to rent furniture (or at least there were tags with xxx price per month displayed), but since there isn’t any advertised signage, I’m not even certain if they in fact do rent anything. Frankly I’m not sure whom this place intends to cater to, and since there were so few people inside, I suspect my opinion is not in the minority.
