Came here during lunch, and ordered the pan savage pizza. The pizza took about 20 minutes to come out, but tasted great. They do offer ready made pizzas as their lunch special. Friendly service!

Our go to pizza place. Our particularly great experience tonight prompted this review: 8pm on a Saturday night, one would expect most pizza places to be slammed. We were quoted at 45 minutes for delivery, and it was at our door in thirty! The guy who takes the phone orders is ALWAYS incredibly friendly and courteous, and they log your order info so you don’t have to give tons of info every time you call. Our delivery guy tonight, Dominic, was fantastic. So personable, and not at all annoyed with finding our apartment within the complex. I would recommend Conan’s North to anyone. Also love that they offer deep dish as well, which is great when you want to mix it up!

Conans is easily my favorite pizza spot in Austin. This location is the coziest most comfortable atmosphere, good beer selection(and great priced pitchers) and the pizza is amazing. I love the wheat crust. The staff is awesome and service is always on point.

Worth checking out, as they are open fairly late. Their deep dish Savage is second to none. Also nice for relatively private conversations.

Super friendly staff and delicious pesto pizza with wheat crust, with an add-on of chicken. The price is definitely fairly good for what you can get. Only issue was there is only one driver so the range of area for delivery is pretty limited.

Frequent this location once or twice a month. The pizza and salad while pricey are always good! The service is good and the place is clean. My only wish is that I wish they delivered just a little farther!

Wow… Wine price beware $ 8 a glass… But the pizza is great however gluten free can make it an expensive dinner.3 people over $ 50. Ouch!

Austin has so many great pizza places but I find myself ordering from Conan’s a lot because they deliver and have a solid deep dish. I don’t really care for their regular crust but I do LOVE their cheese sticks. The delivery can be a little slow but I order accordingly. Their employees are always so nice, even on the phone. Also they get extra points for having bbq chicken pizza which is my guilty pleasure throw back to the 90’s.

Very interesting place. I enjoyed the deep dish pizza which had everything even jalapeños and anchovies. Two to three slices will hit the spot and makes perfect left overs. I was looking for a brick oven pizza which gives it a different taste, however, their pizza oven that they use is good. I haven’t tried other dishes they offer so I will return. Staff are awesome, and food takes about 15 min so bring some quarters to play on the old school arcade games. Pizza and arcade. My type of laid back evening.

As far as deep dish goes, this is 10 times better than any chain restaurant or any other deep-dish delivery! Highly recommended!!!

Conan’s is my favorite pizza place. The staff is nice and very accommodating if you have specific allergies– they always have good suggestions for substitutions. I am allergic to dairy and my husband is vegan so we always get the vegan cheese option. The atmosphere is great, the pizza is great… their calzones are to die for!

Conan’s was my first deep dish pizza experience in Austin. It was at the Guadalupe location near campus, but nothing has changed since then and that is a great thing. The pizza comes straight from the oven still in the deep dish pan to your table at a pipping 500 degrees. Give it time to cool off and for the cheese to get gooey. Just looking at that meat monster makes one wait in antici… pation! Eat with class using a fork and knife or go native and use your hands; either way the dough, sauce, and ingredients will urge you to eat more than one slice. Good luck, because one piece is wholesome enough to satisfy the average barbarian.

Oh Conan’s what happened yesterday evening?! Service was not up to par. My husband and I were really at a loss as to what we were going to do for dinner this evening. We finally decided to go with pizza but we wanted really good pizza. Conan’s is our go to spot for pizza. My husband is not a fan of deep dish pizza which I quickly learned when we lived in Chicago. Moving forward I will never order deep dish any where or mention it to him. The people are always pretty friendly and helpful when we order. Today just seemed weird. I walked up to the counter and a girl in a green shirt and glasses said«I will be with you in just a moment.» A girl with a black shirt, red apron and dark hair approached the counter and ask if we had been helped. I said no so I proceeded with the order. We ordered what I thought was a Meaters with mushroom on wheat thin crust, Caesar salad and beer for my husband. We found a seat near one of the TVs in hopes to catch some basketball. When we sat down there was a full tables of people playing some kind of board or magic game. The TV was set on college basketball. There were a few NBA games that we knew were on so my husband went to the counter to see if they could change the TV. They just gave him the remote so we cruised the guide. We didn’t see any NBA but we settled for hockey. When he went to return the remote an employee made a loud comment to another employee«What is this guy doing with the remote?!» My husband was really surprised and slightly irritated at the comment. He came back to the table and our salad arrived. The Caesar salad is simple and has always been good but this particular evening someone went a little heavy on the dressing. I still ate it. I was hungry it wasn’t terrible just a little over dressed from my experience there. I was about half through the salad and my husband and I were both wondering what was taking so long. Finally our pizza was being delivered to our table… in a deep dish pan. WTF? Literally this ruined our night. We were both pretty hungry so we were debating on whether we were going to say anything. I knew my husband was not going to enjoy it. We decided to just eat it. After about three bites I had to say something. I went to the counter and told the girl with the green shirt that I was really disappointed and had some feedback to share. I told her that we come here often and we NEVER order deep pan and today we ended up with one. I checked the receipt and she checked the register. It said deep pan however I am 200% positive that I said thin crust and when the other girl that took our order was repeating our order I could barely hear here anyway because she was mumbling. I didn’t think anything of it because everything has always been great. She said she couldn’t do anything about it and she would tell the manager. I told her I would be back to my seat if anyone wanted to come have a chat. I returned to our table and my husband decided to grab another beer. Ross the manager came out and was already trying to take our pizza away. I think he apologized and offered to make the correct pizza free of charge. I told him that we were hungry. We already waited for this pizza and then you’re going to make us wait for another. At this point food is food we were going to eat it anyway but again I had to pass along my disappointment. He said ok and said if we were ever back Monday thru Thursday he would be there and he would make it right. Really that’s all you have for me Ross. So disappointed. We both feel like the situation could have been handled differently and better. We both work in the service industry and have had our fair share of upset people in front of us. Oh Conan’s why did you let us down. Ross are you really going to remember who we were if we came back 2 or 3 weeks later? Whatever. We’re not sure if we’re coming back. Back to the drawing board to finding a go to pizza place.

Great little pizza place. One of their delivery drivers is AWESOME!!! And I don’t mean that lightly. He remembers exactly how you like your order and makes sure it arrives that way. Much like your favorite waiter does at your favorite restaurant. Delivery btw is much better than in the store. Cesar salad is fantastic.(especially with ranch dressing, which is also super good.) The pan pizza isn’t great unless you are a meat-lover pizza orderer. then it might be. Thin white crust is my preference. Just wish they had fresh basil. Oh and wish they delivered large glasses of their homebrewed tea. *sigh*

Not a huge fan of this pizza. For the price, the flavor was just ok. Got a meat pizza and a veggie. The crust was tasty, but the cheese and toppings were just ok. Nothing overly extravagant or mind-blowing… it was just ok. I will probably look for some other pizza options in the area before falling back to this place.

Came here because my boyfriend told me it was good and worth and a try. However, it was not an experience that I would recommend or suggest going to. There is parking on both sides of the restaurant, but the front is really inside the shopping center not the one facing Burnet Road, if you go in from that side you have to walk through the whole place. There are a few good options at a first glance. We ordered a medium which turned out to be a good size we took home some left overs. We went on a gloomy Saturday night, but it wasn’t that busy, it seemed like. We got cheesy bread, and that took about 20 minutes to come out, it was cheese and garlic spread melted on a french bread with a side of marina, the marinara was cold too, so it was gross. That’s where everything good ended. It took an hour+ for our pizza to be done. And it wasn’t made correctly, there was no bacon, and topping and cheese just falls off the pizza. The crust was just too much, we got the deep dish pizza. There was nothing special here and it was pretty pricy for nothing good. Not worth the effort, or the wait

Best pizza in town! I always get the veggie with out the pineapple on wheat crust. AMAZING!!! Long processing times so call early if getting delivered and if dining in, order a glass of wine. But they have the freshest ingredients and the best pizza I have ever tasted!

Great vibe and interior. Ample parking. Good service. Now lets get to the pizza. Ive not been to these high end pizza places like Via 313, but the calorie loaded DEEPDISH is the best pizza Ive had in Austin to date. Easily beats East Side Pies and Home Slice, which, in my opinion are underwhelming. The Savage pizza is my favorite. It has all the items you would put on a deluxe pizza, as well as anchovies and jalapenos. Its awesome! It takes forever to cook; at least 35 minutes. They use the rotating ovens and not the conveyor belts that large chains use. The wait is worth it. The regular crust is good too; its just that the deep dish is so ridiculously good.

This place is a nostalgia capsule and literally my favorite pizza joint in Austin. Thank you for keeping it casual and serving me exactly what I want. I love that every pizza comes out hot… like I can’t wait to burn my mouth in the most cheesy sadistic way hot. Thank you for always hooking it the eff up on toppings. Thank you for having the nicest staff. Even when I straggle in after my shift, obviously the surliest most pissed off lady chef that ever lived, these lovely pizza angels turn my frown upside down. Long story short, I want to throw myself a party here every night and invite only pizza toppings and beer.

Not impressed. I ordered a pesto deep pan pizza, and there was a very very thin layer of pesto on it I couldn’t even taste. Pizza was maybe 85% dough, 12% cheese, 3% sauce and topping. All I could taste was dough. I got wheat, and it wasn’t that impressive. My topping was pineapple; there was on average 2 – 3 small chunks on each slice. Expected much more for the price.

First time at Conans today. The reviews are accurate, funky, with Conan the barbarian pics all over the wall. I loved the old pizza hangout vibe it has, I also like the little sitting nooks; feels private. The deep dish pizza we had was DELISH! I got great customer service! The ladies were friendly and patient(we couldn’t decide what to eat). They have good beer selection(pitchers too) and great vegetarian options. I’m happy I found this place and right around the corner. I’m still a home slice fan but this was good pizza.

Review of Pizza delivered to a new customer: have you ever received a pizza that was too hot to handle? Nope, me neither. Until tonight. Full disclosure — I only live a mile or so away, but I also live on the third floor of a gated community. And yet my pizza was delivered Hot! Hot! Hot! My pizza also arrived a lot faster than the 45 minutes they promised… Yeah, but if it doesn’t taste great, who cares about temperature? This pizza was GREAT! I ordered the Veggie Supreme, Daiya and wheat crust. Bottom line: this food is so good it’s not even pizza! Fresh tomatoes, so many wonderful ingredients to the very edge of the crust, perfectly textured crust, sauce that enhances but doesn’t take over the flavor, ingredients piled so high that knife and fork isn’t a bad idea — Conan is perfect pizza. Full stop. And they deliver! We win!!!

The location is dark, old looking and smelly. Pizza is just okay. But oh man, the guys who work here are so rude and make your experience very unpleasant. Don’t blame em’ I’d be bummed too if I had to work minimum wage in an old pizza shop. So let’s do the math… Rude employees + just okay pizza = find somewhere else to eat.

It’s hard to find good deep dish pizza in Austin, so I’m a fan of Conans. It’s thick, heavy, tasty deep dish pizza. The throwback store is a pleasant switch from the sterile cloned stores of chains. They accommodate large groups and there is plenty of space so we don’t feel rushed to leave. The pizza reheats well, too.

First, the décor is awesome… Prints of Conan everywhere slaying demons, giant serpents, and other monstrosities. Second, the pizza is good, fresh, and fast. Finally, the wait staff is super cool and friendly, too… Oh, yeah! The booths are amazingly private, so this is a great choice for an intimate lil date with your cutie-pie.

Very unique experience. I dig the décor and I love the fact that it smells like an old school pizzeria. My only complaint was the service. It wasn’t bad it just seems like the people could have made a little bit bigger effort to try and be somewhat friendly. I felt like more of an annoyance to them than anything. Oh and the girl in the kitchen exclaiming«no sh*t Chad!» at a loud-enough-for-everyone-to-hear volume. That sort of thing only bugs me when I have my kids with me, but either way, not very professional. At least make sure half of the customers in the quiet restaurant don’t hear your conversation. The good? The food was good, we ordered a medium Meater and our family of 2 adults and 2 kids couldn’t finish it. Between a medium specialty pizza, two bottles of apple juice and two beers it came to about $ 30, which is very reasonable to me. I love the fact that they had old school arcade games and the whole vibe was very different from the typical eat-in restaurant. It reminded me of the kind of place I would have went when I was a kid. Would definitely recommend.

This place has absolutely amazing deep dish styled pizza(both the North and South location.) The portions here are absolutely filling and we had fun while appreciating the uniquely themed décor. The staff was very friendly and correctly executed the order. The breadsticks arrived being thin-styled but warm and tasty. We had the meaters pizza which was devilishly good. The bacon cheddar burger pizza was good as a pizza, but it was missing that cheeseburger taste. However, this place gets 5 stars for serving delicious and filling food through multiple visits. Definitely a great way to improve your mood during bad days. Thanks again and see you soon :)

I’m from the southeast suburbs of Chicago and I had a hankerin’ for some good deep pan(not deep dish!) pizza. I know that Conan’s has deep dish, but come on, I’m only ordering that kind of thing in my city of CHI. Pizza’s take a while, even for pick-up. And hey, they’re pretty expensive($ 25 for a large specialty). I appreciate that they are local, so the price doesn’t bother me too much, I suppose. The sauce and cheese are good, and the crust is very very bread-y. Yes, it is deep pan pizza, but the crust is almost dry. I think Conan’s is a nice change of pace from the big pizza chains, but I can only eat this thick and filling(and somewhat greasy) pizza every once in a while. I have only done pick-up(not delivery or dine-in), and I know this: the line is usually long. They are an order-at-the-front kinda place, so you can totally get stuck behind the family that is trying to decide on 3 pies, what toppings, what drinks etc. etc. EVEN if you’re just picking up. The interior is dreary and pizzeria-like, but not a bad place to share a pie, I imagine. So I’m somewhat torn on Conans; it is good thick pizza, somewhat expensive, and somewhat slow. Great change from my hubby’s vote of Papa Johns.
