Has anybody else had problems with the water utility reading meters low the month before waste water averaging? This false low causes an artificial high in the waste water reading. Multiplied by no telling how many, this can be a huge illegal profit for the water company.

Great customer service from Jionne, Jeanette, and Terrence(sorry for the mispelling of names!). Jionne was very patient and thorough. She explained, step by step, the process she was performing when fixing our bill. Everyone I spoke here was genuinely friendly. Thanks y’all!

Abysmal. Embarrassing. Josh told me my service would be turned on 8⁄27. I moved all my things to the new place and turned off electricity at the old place. I called today wondering what the hold up was. The rep today told me Josh made a mistake and that I would have to wait til tomorrow. I’m not sure how they are justifying their mistake as my problem, but the rep told me to just deal with it. Unfortunately I have zero recourse, and there are no competitors, so I am forced to continue giving my money to liars who can’t do their job.

11÷18− Trace and Kate Cody request trash cans for their new house. In response, City of Austin cancels the order because they assume Trace and Kate don’t need trash cans since their house has a unit number on it. This is an incorrect assumption on the part of the city of Austin. Week of December 2– Puzzled that their trash cans haven’t arrived, Trace and Kate call the city of Austin. They’re informed that the order was cancelled and a new order has been placed; their trash can will be sent in two weeks. They are told to leave their trash bags out and they will be picked up. Trash has been piling up at their house for 2 weeks. Trace and Kate inform the city of Austin employee they have 4 trash bags and are told that is fine. The trash is put out for Wednesday, trash day, and no one picks it up. Week of December 9– Trace and Kate call the city of Austin to tell them no one picked up our trash the week of December 2. They are told to leave their trash out for pickup Wednesday with a sign that says«WAITINGFORCITYCAN». Trace and Kate do this, and their trash is not picked up, and their trash cans are not delivered in spite of the city saying they would be this week. Trace and Kate call back and are told that someone would be sent within 24 hours to pick up the trash, so leave the trash out all night. No one comes to pick up the trash, animals get in the trash and get trash all over the neighborhood. Trace and Kate call back and are told that a supervisor would be calling to confirm that someone would be getting our trash. So Trace and Kate leave the trash out again and animals get in it again and get trash all over the neighborhood. Trace picks up all the trash everywhere. Four separate times the city of Austin has promised to pick up Trace and Kate’s trash. After living in their house for 4 weeks, they are completely desperate. At this point, leaving the trash on the steps of the City of Austin building seems the most appropriate. Perhaps leaving the trash out for days so animals can get in it and get the trash everywhere would be fair. There is now a giant moving box labeled«WAITINGFORCITYCAN» outside our house. PLEASEPLEASE come get our trash. PLEASE!

Sandwiched between Famsa and Carnaval Dental in this strip mall is the City of Austin’s newest customer service centre. You never know if you’re going to encounter a taciturn or friendly employee at the counter, but when you can pay your bill in less than three minutes every time, who really cares? The place is clean and bright, with lots of free parking. There’s no payment fee and there’s never a line. Their security guard welcomes you in with good cheer as he opens the door for you; he also always says goodbye while opening the door for you when you leave. Such courtesy always puts a big smile on my face.
