Champions Gymnastics & Cheer – Lake Travis

This gym is fantastic! Great, attentive coaches that worked well with the children. My daughter left her class feeling like her skills were better than when she walked in. I couldn’t ask for more than that! Pablo, Sylvia, and Eligh answered all my questions and were very helpful!

I was really looking forward to have my kid enrolled. My kid loves gymnastics but either my standards are too high or I am confused about what gymnastics is about. I wanted a coach that was above all Safe! My kid got hurt on the first class. Nothing serious but some safety –as helping each «new» kid and being more through into each movement– would have avoided the accident. I saw the coach lead by example and let the kids follow. How about show and watch each kid –one by one– do the exercise? The kids would do the exercise wrong and the coach would say «great»?? How about «Nice effort; just make sure your hands/​feet/​head etc…» I did not see the coach correct the kids??? It seemed to me he was looking more at the parents for approval than teaching individually-​according to the needs of each kid and safety of each kid. So now we are still looking for another place to do gymnastics in Lakeway!
Being a «picky» parent –I do not recommed it.
