Just came here for a quick coffee and pastry. My wife got a Chai tea latte, which she enjoyed and said was «OK». I had a dark-​roast drip coffee and we shared a scone which was good. Overall, a solid experience. This coffee shop is definitely a benefit to Austin and is pretty convenient to the interstate. I will definitely come back.

WTF. I got my yooze ‘treat’ drink in the drive thru — a small soy campfire mocha w nonfat whip. The attendant was totally nice so no knock on the service. I got my drink promptly, and it felt light but I didn’t think anything of it bc I had to get somewhere. I took a sip, and the drink was luke warm at best. I opened my drink and it was HALF full with no whip or toppings. Seriously there was like 4oz of joe in there. It looked like the drink was spilled or someone drank half of it. I was so disappointed bc I rarely get caribou, so I expect to be totally satisfied when I have it.

This is a great Caribou location. The staff is super-​friendly and service is always quick. For some reason, this location doesn’t always show up on your GPS (and wasn’t even listed on Unilocal), but it’s a REAL Caribou that is locally owned and operated. The location is conveniently located adjacent to the Hy-​Vee Convenience Store and includes the typical amenities of a Caribou… though this is one rather small. I’ve been going here on a regular basis for the past month or so and really enjoy their specials. They recently had a week where any bakery item was only 75c with purchase of coffee and they currently have a «Happy Hour» with buy-​one-​get-​one free drinks which is HUGE steal. These promotions might be temporary but it shows that they’re willing to go the extra mile to serve their customers. There are other great local coffee shops in Austin (be sure to check them out) but this is a great Caribou and is open whenever you need a caffeine fix!
