The best complex in my opinion, for active people. We have 2 dog parks within a short walking distance, and the pond is less than ½ a mile away while the gym and main building are a mere 5 min walk away. The pool is very nice also, and even if people are there, it’s a friendly environment. People share the space, and with this heat wave, I haven’t seen the pool fill up yet.

BuenaVista is OK. It is not the best of the RIATA villages, though. If you are wanting to stay in the mid-level range, RockCreek or GreyMoss are better options. Both are closer to the main building where a lot of the community amenities are. This becomes important if the pool is full, or if you have a package to pick up at the gym. Also, both have the actual leasing offices in them, whereas BV doesn’t. It reports to GreyMoss. All that said, it is still RIATA, and thus still nice. One thing I don’t understand is how all of RIATA feeds into Round Rock I.S.D. … except for Buena Vista? For some reason BV feeds into Austin I.S.D. It seems odd to me that a dividing district line would run through an apartment community. For those with children, this is important information to know.
