Bill Allen’s Inspections

Amazing inspector. He’s old school and, unlike most inspectors, takes the time to do things right. He is readily available for questions long after the inspection is completed.

I found out about Bill from our excellent realtor. Bill Durtschi of Bill Allen Inspections did 2 inspections for us this year. Bill is extremely thorough, and took about 4 hours for each inspection. He uses an infrared camera, moisture sensor and checks out everything. He does termite/​pest inspections (WDI) simultaneously, if you want. In areas where he doesn’t have full certification/​licensing, such as HVAC, he still does a good inspection, and then if he sees something suspicious he refers you to have a fully licensed/​certified professional take a closer look. His thorough report provided the information we needed to save us from buying the first home he inspected. The 2^nd home only had minor issues after the 4 hour inspection and now that we live here, we are thrilled with the quality of the home. A good inspection that takes 4 hours will likely cost you more than a 2 hour inspection, but it is more than worth it when you are making such an important investment. I recommend Bill and would use him again.
