I was eager to see Dr Bergin after reading her website and following some of the advice posted there, but her staff said i had to supply her with previous doctor’s notes for her to review and then she would decide if she wanted to see me or not. This obstacle seems so contrary to everything posted on the website and blog. I am very disappointed and view this step as a weeding out procedure, a discouraging triage tactic. I would have been happy to meet with the doctor and let her at least try to help me or decide in person that I would not be an appropriate patient for her.

I highly recommend her and her staff. They took the time to help me understand my problem, treated it and then helped educate me in preventative measures. Dr. Berlin truly cares about her patients and their health.

I have been a patient of Dr Bergin for over 16 years. It was when there was only i-4 Drs. in the practice. She has done several knee surgeries on me. Now, it’s time to have my knee replaced.(Dr. Tyler). I immediately liked Dr Bergin the first time I met her. We share a passion for horses. Now days after her PA gives me an injections, or just to review, she always comes in to chat. I could not give this Dr. enough praise. Her staff are wonderful. Including, her staff up front to her billing people. Back, in 1999, I was suppose to go into surgery the next morning until her manager called me and said she was going to have to postpone the surgery because she was ‘STUCK” at the airport due to bad weather. I told him to please switch the person after me. I had an infant daughter and had made plans for help and my husband changed his schedule. They called back and said she would do the surgery the next AM. This Dr. goes beyond her«doctoring» she is friendly, personable, honest, caring, always able to see her within the same week if important. Her growing staff must have known that Texas othro was the place to do good/great work. Considering they have their own MRI, surgical center, PT, that’s very impressive. She’s honest, kind, interesting, and compassionate. To few are these kinds of doctors. She gets 6 stars out of 5! In addition, her husband is a Nephrologist.(kidney). He took care of my mother and he was just as nice. He cared as much as his wife(Dr. Bergin). What a team. I would recommend both to anyone I know.

Dr. Bergin and her staff are absolutely fantastic. I was seen promptly, but I didn’t feel at all rushed when I was with the doctor or her staff. They took the time to conduct a proper examination, which is sadly infrequent these days. They explained everything very well and just at the right level of detail without being at all condescending like some doctors are. They consulted me on every aspect of my care, including whether or not I wanted a brace or medication. They also told me up-front that my insurance may not cover the brace they offered. They’re all highly knowledgeable about their specialization. All the resources and information offered to me are incredibly helpful. I deeply appreciated the level of respect and kindness with which they treated me. It’s nice to feel like a real person at a doctor’s office and to walk out happy and confident that I’ve had a quality medical experience. In all, I left an hour after I went in, and that’s including the wait at the on-site pharmacy for my prescription. I highly recommend Dr. Bergin and her staff.

Dr. Bergin did everything possible for my examination on my knees. X-rays, prescriptions for medicine, knee braces, and told me I should never run again and should do exercises to strengthen my knees. What she(or her business office) did not tell me is that my insurance would not pay 100% for the knee braces that I knew I would never wear. Who wants to wear big huge black heavy knee braces when it’s 107 degrees outside? If I knew I was going to be billed $ 114 for knee braces, I would have NEVER taken them home with me. What is even more ridiculous is that she really charged $ 250 for them, and my insurance paid the rest. Is this why there is such a healthcare problem in America? Still, to be out of pocket $ 114 for something that I don’t want is ridiculous. The business office should have told me that my insurance doesn’t cover this, when I checked out. I will not be returning to her office. Also, the«never running again» diagnosis will be getting a 2nd opinion. OH, and one more thing… get ready to spend 2 hrs of your time at this office on your first visit… one hour in the waiting room, and 1 hour getting treatment.
