I’ve been decently successful thus far in life; but this 27 year old attorney has been a failure at attaining height. Yes, that’s right, I think I hit my peak height of 4’10 when I was in the 6th grade. Despite the obvious draw backs, there is one silver lining for this petite girl — super high heels. Even though it can be tricky finding them in my small size — Bakers always has my back. It’s like they created those size 5, 4 ½ inch heels just for me! Their large selection always amazes me — I wish I could buy them all. I have been impressed with the quality of Bakers shoes. They have held up pretty well. Their prices are pretty reasonable and compare well to other shoe stores like Aldo and Nine West. I have had several pairs of heels from Bakers which were actually comfortable to wear too. With your Bakers membership card, you receive 10% off each purchase. Since I buy online often, this 10% at least covers my shipping cost.(if you buy online, there are free returns at any Bakers store, total plus) Also, when its your birthday, you get an extra 20% off. It may not be much, but in today’s world, anything helps. So if you are a short or tall girl — who loves high heels, check out Bakers. The have them in virtually every color, for any type of occasion.

We ran in here yesterday looking for gladiator sandals after having looked several other places that either didn’t have the right size, the right fit or, were simply not marked down enough for as late in the season as it is. We’d just come from trying on a much higher-priced Steve Madden shoe that was simply too wide. I thought Bakers was pretty inexpensive, so I was pretty certain that would equate to wider fitting shoes. I wasn’t holding out much hope. WRONG! Not only did the shoes run narrower, they were practically an exact match to the Madden shoes. Sales prices were awesome. We left with THREE pairs of sandals for $ 60!!! The store was crowded upon our arrival so it took a few minutes to catch one of the sales girls. I was surprised when she remembered all of our choices and thought to bring out alternative sizes if the one requested wasn’t available. She went on to tell us that each and every shoe runs different… especially since some are made in italy, some in the US, so encouraged us to always try them on first. Good advice since purchases ranged by a whole shoe size. We will definitely shop here again.
