My 4^th grader and all her BFFs had the best birthday part here! They made cameo cupcakes and learned how to make a variety of fondant flowers from scratch. So much fun! Since then we’ve attended multiple weekend workshops and summer camps, all where a hit. What I like best about Bake Austin is that Pascal actually teaches kids how to bake, not just assemble baked goods. My kiddo now knows more about baking than I do! If I could give this business 6 stars I would.

We hired Pascal to come lead a cupcake decoration party at our home for my daughters 11^th birthday. The theme was to make the cupcakes look like succulents. Pascal came prepared with colored fondant icing, tools, 50 gluten free cupcakes, and supplies to set up a station for each child participating. She gave instruction to all the kids like a class and walked around helping them. It was even better than i expected! I did not have to do anything… she swept and cleaned up after the 2 hour class. The cupcakes looked so cool! The kids loved it. Very reasonable on pricing as well.

I attended Bake Austin’s ‘German Christmas Cookies’ class this weekend, and I now can’t recommend Pascal’s classes highly enough. She was engaging, hands-on, and full of fun and interesting trivia about the craft and science of baking. I have never really cared for German Christmas cookies (just took the course on a whim with a friend), but this class won me over! We literally made 5 different cookies in 3 hours — FROM SCRATCH! — and they are like something you would get at a special market. Our class of 5 left with individual tins and goodie bags stuffed to the gills with all the cookies we made. I’m a serious fan of Bake Austin, and plan to stalk more of her classes in 2016.

Delicious and authentic Swedish Princess Tårta! Very difficult to get marzipan in Austin and we so appreciated finding Pascal at Bake Austin. Also, a very beautiful cake.

I cannot speak about the cakes from Bake Austin, but I can say they put on a wonderful summer camp. My son was engaged everyday at Crazy Candy Camp and came home with all sorts of delicious and amazing creations. Thankfully there was plenty to share! From variations of hard candy through gummies all the way to chocolate my son seemed to enjoy it all. One of our things to do next week is try to make the candy bars similar to Twix. Yum! Thank you for a delightful experience!
