This company took my money and ruined my garage floor. Troy talked my wife into allowing them to grind the concrete before acid staining. They used a grit of sand paper that was way too low for the job. In effect they cut circular grooves into the entire floor. This process gouged up sharp chunks of the floor, which they then sealed over without smoothing. The outcome was of terrible quality and was unusable because the sharp damage done to floor literally cut the bottoms of our feet.
When I tried to get Troy to fix his work, he tried to charge me more. He blamed my wife, not his unprofessional work. I am still amazed that this happened. I now have to have it completely redone. It will cost much more now to repair the damage SmartScapes did to my floor.

Troy did not do a good job at all. He insisted on bundling some services that I didn’t need. As an example, he had to check and adjust the sprinkler system, even though I told him the sprinklers were working fine. He said it was so he could guarantee his work but that didn’t happen.
He was nice and pleasant as long as I said ok to his skimpy plan, and I mistakingly trusted that his years of experience and look of sincerity would be built into his work.
He rescheduled a few times before coming to do the work, although he took 50% up front. Not only does my landscaping look shoddy, all of the work listed in the bundle was not really completed. I have more stories, but suffice it to say, I would not recommend him and am sufficiently upset about being taken.
He only accepted cash or check, and now I know why. Wish he had at least accepted the coupon he used to advertise, which attracted me to his business in the first place.
