I met the owner of Austin Slow Burn on a hot day in July last year when my tire blew out on my car. This kind man and his brother –in law stopped and helped me put a spare on. He gave me his card and since then I’ve fallen in love with Austin Slow Burn’s products. The owner was a wonderful man and I feel so good buying his products. I met him shortly after his wife passed away, but that didn’t stop him from making sure I got home safely. What a cool guy! Awesome product and Austin Based company.

Austin Slow Burn flows right into the stream of ever-local hot sauces rooted in the wonderful Tex-Mex town of Austin, where fountains of salsa spill abounding and never will you find a lack of breakfast tacos, greasy and cheap or refined and expensive. Austin cures what ails your south-of-the-border longings. Specifically, I enjoy this company’s salsas more than their novelty goods, ranging from pasta sauces to even some jerk-oriented goods. Their salsa and habanero both have a very distinct character, in no way similar to the everyday bottled tomato-heavy stuff. You can discern that they are putting some elbow grease and thought into their recipes, as many have a very distinct flavor profile, with layers and layers of different ingredients, balancing and contrasting one another. If you stumble upon ASB’s products at your local grocer or HEB or wherever you shop, make sure to pick up a jar of salsa and a bag o’ chips. Disappointment with not exist with these goods.

I just experienced enjoying a product from Austin Slow Burn… Creamy Jalapeño! Jumping Jesus it is SPECTACULAR! I made a Boar’s Head Genoa Salami hero and decided to enhance it with this dressing. It was truly«roll around on the ground GOOD!» It possesses a wonderful creamy flavor with a truly lingering slow burn afterglow. I really believe it will be an addition to your pantry. Thank you Jill & Kevin for a most impressive product. Jim Palladino Buda, TX
