Austin Kidney Associates

No one wants to be told that they have to go to a kidney specialist («nephrologist»), so I wasn’t thrilled about coming here. However, I can say that I feel as though I’ve had some of the greatest care possible.
My PCP wanted me to see a nephrologist ASAP, and they referred me to this office. I called, and the scheduler was able to get me in the very next morning.
The doctor, Mark Rosen, was incredibly thorough. After meeting me, he took a few minutes in silence to go through the lab work that had been sent to him and studied it. He asked me some questions and then began to discuss his thoughts with me. The whole time, he was able to make me feel at ease, smiling when appropriate and giving me helpful advice.
More importantly, Dr. Rosen was thorough. He ordered a ton of tests and made sure that he had as much information as possible to treat me.
In short, if you’re ever in the market for this kind of specialist, this is definitely the place to go. There are locations all over town, and many doctors. My experience is only with Dr. Rosen, but I couldn’t be more satisfied.
