I’ve been going to them for about 6 months and can recommend it to others. I went to see if they could help with my migraines and I’m happy to report I’m getting about half as many as I did before I went — which is really saying a lot. (I’d never been to a chiropractor before.) I also get massages from Holly about every other week and it has really helped my stress level. Holly clearly knows what she’s doing and wants to help. She listens and responds to what you’re asking for. She also tries hard to make the experience as luxurious as it can be (since it’s not really a spa environment). I leave every massage feeling amazing and am grateful for her. I give 4 stars because the ambience of the office could be improved but the quality of the doctor’s treatments and the massages are excellent!

I have been coming to Austin Hillside since before Dr. G took it over (for about a year now) and I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about it still. In fact, it may have even improved some!
Dr. G is VERY thorough in his adjustments & he also explains things (such as causes of pain, exercises to help reduce it, etc). He NEVER rushes through an appointment & always gives you his full attention.
Hollys massages are GREAT, she makes sure to spend her time & focus on specific areas of need, and is overall a wonderful masseuse! (I have been to MANY massage therapists in the past too.) Also– Keep an eye out for her specials! (Such as Intro massage specials, holiday specials, etc.)
Overall, my back pain (that I had suffered from for YEARS) has been DRAMATICALLY reduced since getting adjustments & massages here!

Dr. G and Holly Ibarra have helped me tremendously! I have been getting chiropractic care for about a year now to help with a pinched nerve and my healing really sped up when I started alternating adjustments with massages. Holly is incredible and the best masseuse I have ever had (and I’ve gone to a lot)! She is extremely well versed in the anatomical system and how to work the muscles effectively. Dr. G is a fantastic chiropractor and is very friendly and committed. The two of them are a great team and have successfully ameliorated my nerve pain! I will continue to see them! I highly recommend them!

Love this place, I’ve been coming to them weekly now to alleviate some pregnancy related back pain. Holly works her butt off, trying to penetrate and treat the affected areas, and exhausts every resource and limb so that you can walk out of there with some relief. Doctor Gubnitsky is so knowledgeable and thorough in his assessment as well as the delivery of his treatment. He’s really listening to your body and balancing that with your emotional comfort levels to deliver treatment that is affective but considerate. They are also flexible with your schedule and promptly respond to communication– even by text. Super impressed. Thank you Holly and Dr. Dubnitsky!

I’ve had countless massages over the years, hopping around to whomever was available. But after one massage with Austin Hillside Family Chiropractic new Massage Therapist, Holly Ibarra, I scheduled the next 4 before leaving. She really has an incredible understanding of the way muscle and bone come together. And I really appreciate how she and Dr. G took the time to review my x-​rays to get a comprehensive look at what kind of treatment I needed. Their partnership really gives them an edge.

I’ve been to a few chiropractors and am new to the area. I hurt my back and knew I needed an adjustment so I went on groupon and found this place. For $ 39 I got an exam, 2 adjustments, and X-​rays. For $ 20 more I got a 50 minute massage. They did not take any credit card info until I paid for my massage. The first day I received an adjustment only. The second day I received a massage, an adjustment, and went over a plan based on my X-​rays. The prices were fair and were comparable to other chiropractors I have seen.
The reasons I gave three stars is because the décor and location make it seem kind of «ghetto» and while I think the doc is very intelligent, I believe he does the same basic «adjustments» on all his patients. The adjustments definitely work, but they should be more targeted.
The massage was average, but worth more than the $ 20 I paid for sure.
Go here if it is convenient for you and if you like «mom and pop» type places.

Dr. Dieddorff was very informative and so nice. Just had my first appointment, office was clean, quiet and comfortable. I’m looking forward to my next session. I’m confident he will get me to feeling my age and not 75!

After reading the reviews I wanted to chime in and share my thoughts and experiences to help future clients make informed decisions. First, I’d like to say I was in a car accident over 10 years ago and have seen dozens of chiropractors, spine specialist, physical therapist and massage therapist. I bought the groupon because it was a really good deal. When I arrived I must say I was a little put off by the stripe mall office and simple décor I could see from my car. However, when I met Dr. Dan and his staff for the first time I was immediately relaxed and felt comfortable in the office. I have been seeing Dr. Dan for the past two months and I could not be happier with his work. I have come to understand that the office is set up for efficiency and the location is for convenience. I can’t tell you how nice it is to not have to hunt for a parking spot or have to enter a building and climb stairs. I have never felt rushed or pressured during my visits. Yes, they did ask for my credit card. But, it is not some scam where they secretly charge your credit card. It is for convenience. When I arrive I simply: sign in with my phone number, do my exercises, see the Dr. and leave. The receipt is emailed to me. Also, I have never seen a Dr. where there was not a «no show» fee. If you book an appointment and the Dr. has reserved that time for you and you don’t show up you need to pay for that time. In the last two month I have had multiple appointments and yes I have made schedule errors and realized I had conflicts. I simply call before the 24 hr’s and the staff is super friendly and changes my appointment. Lastly, as for the «very pushy» appointment bookings, they want to make sure you get the time and day you want. As I said, if a couple days later you realize that day or time doesn’t work you just call before the 24’s and reschedule. Dr. Dan really cares about his patients, he has stayed late and even fit me in for emergency appointments outside of office hours. I highly recommend him!

Please be careful and take those other reviews with a grain of salt, this place is NOT in it for your best interests! First they want to guarantee your appointment with a credit card which I thought was odd but I did it anyways. I then proceeded to redeem the Groupon with no problem however, I felt like the appointment was rushed through. Had to set up the second appointment while in the office and they were very pushy about it but I was ready to book just so I could come back to see my X-​rays. I returned to the 2^nd appointment to review the X-​rays and again felt extremely rushed again. I then had my massage that was supposed to be an hour was more like 40min. It was just ok. A little note on the massage… you should receive a massage first then an adjustment, that has been standard practice at 2 other chiropractor offices I have been to in the past. and not to mention makes sense to loosen your muscle and joints prior to the adjustment! In the end I was quoted $ 6600. for 30 visits and some PT which I later figured out I could do on my own. I was also told my insurance had a deductible of $ 7k and they would not pay anything for adjustments. Well this was a complete lie because I decided to get a second opinion and was told my deductible was only $ 3500 and an adjustment was only $ 15 on my end. I decided to call to get my X-​rays and the Dr Dan was very rude about it and didn’t even bother to ask why or what was going on. It took them 3 days to get them to me. All in all I felt this to be a bit of a scamming operation. I’ve seen several chiropractors throughout my history of back/​neck problems and this place definitely makes me see why some people think its crazy to see a chiropractor, ever!!! I was able to find a place to get my issue fixed at more than half off the price quoted here!

I have collapsed disks in my neck and lower back
plus arthritis in my neck and back. The adjustments
to my neck and back makes me feel better. He has
also recommended different exercises to help with

Dr Dan is great at getting you in and out quickly and efficiently. He truly loves and believes in what he is doing. The staff (Andrea) is very willing to accommodate the needs and schedules of the patient. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants a chiropractor that really cares and is concerned about the patients current and future health.

I had an accident at work that landed me with a severe concussion. Dr. Dierdorff has been outstanding in caring for my health and recovery and is very effective working with insurance companies and handling workers comp claims. With my insurance benefits he has also been able to include massage with some sessions. His clinic is designed for very efficient treatment sessions and there is little to no wait. Great guy — truly a family environment.

Dr. Dan is a fantastic Chiropractor! I teach fitness classes and personal train so I am always sore. Dr. Dan has helped my upper back pain considerably. He is kind, trustworthy and a very nice person. I brought my daughter in to see him when she hurt her hip dancing and Dr. Dan has helped her as well. We have become regulars and will continue to be.
The massage therapist, Kim, is also excellent! I highly recommend Austin Hillside Family Chiropractic.

My experience: When I called to make an appointment, they asked my name and personal info which was fine. But then they wanted me to give them my credit card info for a $ 40 «hold fee». They make you book two appointments and if you no show for either (or cancel under 24 hours), they are going to charge you $ 25.
That sounds TOTALLY SCAMISH to me. If you make a reservation at a restaurant, they don’t require a «hold fee». If you make an appointment at a dentist… the don’t require a «hold fee». Basically, no one requires «hold fee’s» for a service & company that you have not dealt with yet.
I subsequently ran as fast as possible away from this place and cancelled my Groupon offer.

Dr. Dan and staff are fantastic! I was as skeptic as they get prior to my experience here. Having suffered from chronic back pain for a decade, I tried nearly every traditional and alternative treatment short of surgery. It was not until Dr. Dan pinpointed the cause of my symptoms, offered effective treatment, and instructed me on proper home maintenance that I was able to finally alleviate my chronic pain. The Groupon brought me in, but the results keep me coming back. And, unlike some naysayers, he was eager to tell me when I was well enough to decrease the frequency of my visits. For those that are skeptical or just unfamiliar with the process, ask questions!!! If you have a complaint, voice it! This is especially true during a massage as the treatment can be immediately adjusted accordingly. Clearly and honestly communicate your concerns and goals if you want positive results. They are not mind readers, but they will go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction if you let them.

This is the second time I have visited this Chiropractor and I absolutely love how homey he makes his office visit feel. Dr. Daniel Dierdorff is an amazing chiropractor and is only trying to build something from the bottom. He is definitely worth every penny and worth every bit of your time. He adjusted my back and gave me in detail information on the pain I had been feeling. He is quite the doctor and knows exactly what he is doing. His receptionist is AMAZING as well, she has checked up on me plenty of times as well as my friend who had an appointment the same day i did. Hes great! Give this place a chance (: highly satisfied. He even gave me some tips for temporary relief until I come back to see him!

I bought 2 Groupons to this business ($ 39 for consultation, exam, X-​rays, 2 adjustments, and a 1 hour massage). I went to this chiropractors office to redeem the Groupons, They were very friendly and got me and my friend an appointment the same day that I called. I bought this Groupon because I knew adjustments can feel great and I wanted the massage, I was experiencing NO pain at all. They proceeded to take the X rays as promised and to give me a «simple adjustment» because they «didn’t want to do to much before seeing the x-​rays». He led me to believe that I «must have a high pain tolerance» because he could «feel lots of knots». All was fine and they scheduled the next appointment for 2 days later. Thats when the doctor reviewed the X-​rays but did it extremely quickly, saying I had 2 pinched nerves and 2 «bones» (not vertebras) out of place and I would need 12 – 18 visits to correct the problems. I barely had anytime to look at what he pointed at. He then gave me the exact same «simple» adjustment as the first day. (consisted of cracking my mid back and my neck on a flat table) I then went for my massage, which I have not had many massages so maybe its the way it was supposed to go for a chiropractic massage but it was painful and not relaxing, it basically consisted of the guy digging his elbows into my back for an hour. That was yesterday and today the muscles in my back are sore as if I did significant lifting the day before. (remember, I had NO pain before). Then when it was time to leave the receptionist tried to get me to agree to there «discount CHUSA plan» of 12 visits at $ 65 a piece ($ 780!!). I am not doing that as I have no pain. when I said I would have to think about it, her attitude changed and she gave me a copy of the paper and said «I’ll give you a call Monday, have a nice day». The paper was more of a worksheet where all the amounts and number of visits required were pre typed in and all the office did was write my name in. I truly and honestly feel like these people are scamming people by getting them in the office with a groupon and then convincing them they need to spend all this money. (Most things on google say 3 – 4 chiropractic adjustments will fix most major problems). To make me believe this even more, my friend who I bought the second groupon for had the exact same experience and «results» to a tee. Including where his 2 «problem bones» were and the number of visits required to fix these problems and the amount (and the exact same paper just with his name written in instead). He has never had a massage before, but after his, he Immediately said to me, «I don’t think that was a real massage, was it?». I wish I could give it negative stars. BEWARE!
