Atlas Chimney

I called Atlas to come clean and inspect my chimney. We just moved into a new rental house and were a little uncertain as to the condition of the fireplace and chimney. Atlas arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. They answered all my questions as well. I will definitely use them again.

I needed to have my dryer vent cleaned, and live in a 2^nd story condo. I didn’t know where the dryer vented out. Atlas was willing to come out and see if they could find the vent and then clean it. Friendly and professional service.

Atlas did a fine chimney and dryer vent cleaning for me. Prompt, courteous, professional, and licensed. Noticed and offered suggestion for a different issue that had been over looked by my home inspector. I was able to avoid a problem in another area thanks to his awareness.

We recently moved into a new home and noticed our dryer was taking much longer to dry. We called the builder and they said it was probably due to clog and that it was not under warranty. We called Altas and they came out and quickly found the problem. The piping was never correctly installed! Although we did not need to have our duct cleaned and they drove out to the house, they did not charge us for anything. Not sure that any other business would have done the same.

When I bought my house, there was no washer/​dryer and so I went a bought a gas dryer. I had it installed and everything seemed fine until I tried to ACTUALLY dry my clothes. It wasn’t drying at all!
After getting the installers to come out and look at it, it turned out that my dryer vent (that goes through the attic) was blocked. Since I am pretty courageous, I thought I could do it myself. As soon as I took a look at the attic, I realized it was out of my area of expertise. I went ahead and called a few places and no one was available. I was able to get ahold of this company and they said they would be able to out there that same day and gave me an hour window. Great! Unfortunately, the only time he could come was right smack in the middle of my hair appointment. No problem — I rescheduled the hair appointment. After the hour came and went and he didn’t show up, he called me and told me that it wouldn’t be until 5:30 or he could come tomorrow. I said come tomorrow morning because my hair appointment was for 6 pm that night. He said he would be there by 10 am.
The next day, at 10 am, I received a call that he is on his way. AN HOUR LATER — he shows up. I asked him if he had another job before me (which would explain the lateness) and he no. I was his only job for the day. Great.
Once he shows up, he is courteous, fast, and efficient. He fixed the problem and my dryer works amazing.
Overall, decent experience though BUT I am not sure if I would use again because of his timeliness issues.

I had my dryer vent cleaned and now it works great! I thought I might need a new dryer but Atlas took care of that and now it’s good as new. Quick, reasonable, and friendly.
