Appealing Curb Designs

We hired Appealing Curb Designs to take on a minor landscaping job in front of our house. Shannon came over for an initial quote and we discussed a couple of options and agreed on one of the designs. Shannon and his crew implemented the design very quickly and even added an additional 2 shrubs at no cost. He mentioned that the additional two were needed in order to achieve the look we agreed upon. That really impressed me and shows that he truly cares about the product/​service that he puts out. I would definitely hire them again.

I had an irrigation system installed about a month ago by these guys and they had it done in one day. Came home from work and started watering! Shannon was back out within a couple of days to teach me how to program the system and check any spots that needed tweaking. He actually dug another hole and installed a new valve that he thought was necessary for the best efficiency (I wouldn’t have known any different). Everything works great, fast job, good clean-​up, very little yard damage and growing in nicely.

Shannon the owner came to give me an estimate on some landscaping I wanted for my backyard. Right from the beginning he had a very cocky attitude. He was smug and smirked at all my ideas and put down the ideas that another landscaper had given me. We couldn’t agree on anything to do with my yard, and he seemed very irritated that I didn’t like his ideas. He was trying to convince me to add sprinkler lines in an area that I didn’t want to have any grass, but because I have a few trees around he said I should water that area for the trees. I’ve never watered that area and so far the trees are still alive… so I’m not about to add lines in now! He was very annoyed that I wouldn’t agree to that. After about ten minutes of frustrating conversation, he said «I don’t think we are a good match» and abruptly left. That was the one thing I could agree with him on and I’m glad he didn’t waste any more of my time, but he was certainly very rude about it!

Shannon came by to give me a bid for large covered patio project we’re looking to build. After looking at the scope of the project, Shannon was very upfront and honest by saying it was out of his range of work. I was very impressed by his honesty and the fact he didn’t try and take on a project he couldn’t handle. I did need some sprinkler repairs done so I was able to give him some work. He was very helpful and recommended some future changes to get better coverage. He was quick and reasonable. I will definitely use Shannon again!

We hired Appealing Curb Design when we moved into our new home. They were amazing installing our new sprinkler system! My family is very pleased with our beautiful new yard and we thank Appealing Curb Design for being the best landscaping company in Austin, TX!
