Anytime Fitness

I joined at this location 6 years ago. Was back in (after spending time in other locations due to kid logistics) here this week. The staff were present, tho never returned my phone call message from a week ago. The staff were not friendly and appeared to dislike my asking if equipment had been updated since opening in 2009. The owner frowned the whole time. The screens on some equipment had name plaques torn off, lots of paint scraped off, screens not working. The bathroom was not clean, I would not want to shower there. All in all owner appears to be coasting and not interested in refreshing environment.

Out of the three Anytime locations I have gone to this is the one I like the most. Very spacious and not too crowded, I go later in the evenings so I can’t speak as to how busy it gets during the daytime. They have great equipment for lifting as well as cardio machines. Gym is kept extremely clean, the owner is here a lot of the time and has been friendly the times I have seen him. Also bonus I just discovered the other day, the vending machine accepts ApplePay so I can just use my phone if I need something. Would recommend if the location works for you.
Update: after turning this in to my regular gym, I wanted to add that the staff here does an exceptional job. I have a real appreciation for the cleanliness here. In a ²⁴⁄₇ gym that can be a thing that gets disregarded due there not being a certain time you know that a certain price of equipment will not be in use. I frequently see the owner here even until very late hours ensuring that everything is clean and in place. In addition to that, he was very attentive when I mentioned the shower head was loose. The next day I saw the issue had already been addressed

Overall, it’s a solid Anytime Fitness. Great location. The clientele can be a bit boujie for my personal taste, but that is why you bring headphones. Also, grab a towel as you walk in, so you can lay it over and mark the equipment you’re using. I would go back just for the scenery.

The good: staff is friendly, place is clean, equipment is nice, and it never seems to be too crowded. If you live or work near here I would definitely recommend coming here. I also liked the fact that they gave you a key card to get in and you didn’t have to deal with a front desk — very low maintenance. My issues were that it was fairly expensive for offering no classes. Also, my cell phone never got reception in there which was a little inconvenient. There are only two bathrooms and each has a shower and toilet. This is great for privacy, but I found it frustrating when I worked out during my lunch break and had to stand around for 15 minutes just to be able to change.

I am absolutely stunned by all the positive reviews about this gym for the price. I recently visited the 2222 location after reading the positive reviews at Unilocal and was stunned when I found a gym on par with the FREE gyms at many apartment complexes in the area. Equipment seems nice, but at 5:15 I would not have been able to get a sufficient workout in due to the amount of people working out; I would have had a much easier time at 24. THE BATHROOMS ARE ONESIES… AT A GYM. LOL. Need to shower right after you workout? Sorry, you can’t if someone’s using your gender’s toilet. The gym not only had patrons fairly crowded inside, but there was also a gentleman who’s testosterone to estrogen ratio was clearly in favor of the former working out right in front of the main entrance without a shirt so yes, this place is just as much of a meat market as the other gyms ladies. Dumbells only go up to 80 pounds, I couldn’t find a barbell bench press, 2 or so free olympic barbells, 1 squat rack just wow I can’t believe people pay for this. If you like only working out on an elliptical, this gym might be for you.

Great gym. Always clean, machines in good repair, great climate, and socially mature. With the exception of Saturday mornings the gym has a nice number of people in it with no waiting and no slamming weights!
I’m not aware of wifi access but that would be a nice feature as cell reception is poor (this is not a bad thing!). I also find the Personal Trainers are plentiful and treat the gym as their own space and can be quite inconsiderate of others working out until it is mentioned to them– this needs to change.
I think the gym is great for teenagers and adults. It is not a cheap gym but it is very convenient if you live in the area.

I belong to this gym, so I guess that would mean I dig it, or I’d quit. It’s clean, quiet, totally not a meat market which I love. I can always get on a machine without a wait and the equipment is of pretty high quality. I also totally dig that the bathrooms aren’t like giant locker rooms and you can shower and dress without a bunch of people all up in your mix.
The only con– I do find it a bit over priced since there aren’t any classes. A little zumba or kickboxing would go along way, but there isn’t the space here. It costs about $ 15 more a month than 24 hr fitness for about half the amenities, but I guess I’m paying for convenience, less crowds, and none of those annoying «yummy mummys» trying to bang all the trainers and hoarding the weight machines. I’ll keep coming back!

1. The other location was mean enough to be closed on new years eve so this location took groupons.
2. Alex is nice, professional yet real. He is very helpful and makes you feel welcome.
3. The location gives you great views of the hills.
4. You have 24 hour access.
5. It is not a meat market
6. Between 6−7pm it is not crowded
7. There are no classes offered but I see that as plus right now.
So if you live nearby and just want a nice comfrtable place to workout in, go here!

I joined this gym shortly after it opened when I lived in the neighborhood because it was so convienent.
What I loved abou the gym was that it was very clean. And, it was never too crowded. The gym has the perfect balance of free weights, strength training machines and cardio equipment. The only downside for me was that there were no classes, but that apparently isn’t the model for Anytime Fitness.
Most of the clientele were working professionals, students and housewives. Many utilized personal trainers. The trainers are knowledgeable, personable and seem to care about the well being of the clients in terms of form, etc.
The only reason why I left the gym is because I moved to another part of town. Alex, one of the owners, made canceling as easy as signing up, which is a great sign you are dealing with an honest, solid business.
If you live or work near the ³⁶⁰⁄₂₂₂₂ corridor and need a convienent, clean place with good equipment to help get or stay in shape, you should consider Anytime Fitness.
