All American Recycling

I had a really cool experience at All American Recycling! I sold some cans there. While I was waiting, the guys explained the metals to me. I decided to take a look around at what other customers were bringing. They buy everything metal. They let me purchase an old wagon wheel for only two dollars! The office staff was friendly and gave me a free magnet because it was my first time. I’m definitely going to be a regular!

My husband and I went to All American Recycling for the first time this morning. We were referred there by a family member that suggested us to go early in the morning to avoid a line. We showed up there at 8, totally clueless on what to do… We kinda followed the lead of the vehicle In front of us. When we finally saw a worker, he didn’t give us time to let him know it was our first time… He just said.” park on the other side of the building.”
Well we did, there were about 5 guys standing there. When I asked what we should do, the guy just stared at us. We felt like dummies. They then started to grab the copper out of our truck bed and put it on the scale. We just told back and watch. They asked my husband for his I’d, then 5 minutes later handed him a receipt and walked away. I went up to a worker and asked what we were suppose to do next?!?’ he then pointed to a trailer and said go to the window. That was it:-/ I would of liked better customer service but like my husband said.” what to expect from a junk yard?” :(
Btw, they gave us $ 3/​lb for perfect copper. Not sure if that’s good
