Affordable Sound & Cd Duplication

The quality and service are top-​notch, despite being a busy shop. I’ve used these guys for years, primarily for poster and postcard printing but promo CDs in the past as well. They’re fast and reliable and the product has always looked great so I regularly use them with confidence for many of the clients I design for. And, their prices are far better than that of FedEx Office.

We have been working with Affordable Sound for several years for multiple orders and they have never let us down, are very responsive even when we are not and they always go the extra yard to get the job done and out the door.

I had a great experience working with them. They talked over options and how to go about doing things with my husband and me. They made 300 cds of my catalog for a show I was doing and they did it very quickly (especially since we needed them in less than 10 days when we handed everything over to them). They did not charge an expedite fee and kept me in the loop on the progress. I would recommend to use them and I will use them in the future for other projects.

I like working with this place. Their posters are nice… all I’ve ever done are small pressings of CD’s, but they still treat me like a high dollar customer and get my work to me done well, and quickly. They’ve even been patient with slow payments. Their work really is top notch and their services cater to both the local bar musician and large, signed/​touring acts.

Will and the guys at Affordable Sound are the best. They do oversized 12X18 posters really cheap and their reproduction quality is the best. They have a very friendly staff and their prices once again are… affordable. There turn around time is on par with the best in town and they are super easy to get a hold of in an emergency. They are one of Austin’s Musicians best friends.

Affordable Sound is affordable. Yep, it’s true. They offer a wide variety of services at extremely reasonable prices. My band has gone to them for CD production, posters, mastering, and even download cards.
But keep in mind that the prices reflect the experience. Well, the staff is very nice, but maybe a little disorganized at times. My most recent project (mastering/​download cards) took WAAAAAY longer than necessary. Their initial estimate for mastering a six-​song album was 48 hours. It turned out to be more like three weeks. To be fair, this included some tweaks on the mastering, but they also had some communication issues that resulted in a delay.
To make up for it, they gave me a pretty decent deal on download tickets (which are really awesome if you haven’t considered them instead of CDs!), and an extremely quick turnaround time on the tickets.
Will is great… he does his best to provide good customer service and seems to be a nice guy overall.
So yeah… if you’re a poor musician or band and you can tolerate a few minor mishaps regarding schedule and communication, then I recommend Affordable Sound. If you’re a big-​time hotshot millionaire and you need to get things done fast and right the first time, then you might want to consider higher-​profile businesses.

I used to get band posters printed at Kinko’s, but then I found Affordable Sound! These guys are hands down the place to get 12“x18″ full color posters printed. They are super inexpensive, way cheaper than Stinko’s and super easy to work with. You can e-​mail your artwork or upload it on their site, so it’s very convenient.
I then realized that they are the best place to get cd’s made. By far the fastest in town and I would bet most affordable, hence the name! They do high quality work and generally will do same day turnaround. How can you beat that!!! I have seen that they have worked with a ton of the bands in town and am always surprised when someone hasn’t. I figured they probably spent a fortune somewhere else and dealt with a lot of bullshit. So sad.
I love, love, love these guys! Once you do business with them, you will not go anywhere else. I guaran-​damn-​tee it!
