1St Car Wash

Terrible!!! Does not wash your car. Don’t waste your money on the automatic car wash. Has no actual brushes to wash your car. Lol a «laser wash» was basically spraying water, then soap, then water. No dryer by the way either. Also left little residue balls all over my hood.

I use this car wash because it’s close by, although if I want a clean car, I have to pre-​scrub it myself because the manual carwash only moves the direct around the car. We went this Sunday night, and waited for another vehicle to finish in the automatic carwash. We went ahead and paid, but got no receipt, and waited. When it was our turn, we went into the bay but nothing happened, no spray, no water, nothing. Since someone drove up behind us, we couldn’t back up, and lost our $ 9.
This Saturday afternoon, we went to vacuum the car, and I stopped to talk to the two attendants to no avail. Eric informed me they were under no obligation to provide me a name and phone # of who to talk with. Nick told me he would not give us a refund but with a receipt would run the car through the carwash again.
Thankfully, it was on a debt card, and we’ll just take care of it through the bank.
Eric told me they are under new ownership. From the other Unilocal postings, I don’t think we’ll get satisfaction at 1^st Car Wash.

It’s predominantly like any other wash rack. Except it has a touch free wash. That’s the only issue I have with this establishment. You can’t remove road grime without touching it. Not possible. I come here to per wash the hard to reach areas so when I get the ultimate wash across the street I get an all over clean car. So I visit this wash every couple weeks. Nothing really stands out here. It’s coin op washing.

Used for first time: clean facility, lots of suds, good wash, helpful attendant.

I’m not making this up…
The machine kept taking my money so I walked into the office (door was open) and found the attendant MASTURBATING. I waited for him to put it away and zip his pants and had him follow me to the broken machine (I refused to be ripped off). He insisted on washing my car although I didn’t want his penis hands on something I might have to touch. He finished with the high powered rinse and I had to do the wax sealant and spot free rinse. Before he left he decided to talk to me about the «incident» and apologized if I had seen anything. I figured if he brought it up I would take the opportunity to make him as uncomfortable as possible since I had been uncomfortable. I told him he could be arrested for indecent exposure and he proceeded to explain to me why he was doing that. He kept going on and on about it while I applied way more wax to my car than necessary because I couldn’t concentrate on washing my car with all the talk of how he couldn’t touch himself at home because he lived with his brothers and mother and how he couldn’t close the office door because it «gets too cold.» Things were getting strange so I wanted to make sure he was remorseful and shamed that I had seen him doing that to make sure he wasn’t a weirdo. He wouldn’t admit to feeling bad and just kept saying he didn’t know I would come in there. I was sufficiently convinced that he was one step away from being a sexual predator and told him to get away from me. He said «you need to do the spot free rinse» I then yelled at him to get away, got in my car and drove off. My car looks dirtier than it did before. When I called the manager to report the attendant masturbating he acted like it was not big deal. I wasn’t leaving it at that and yelled at him to get his cousin (as it turns out) help and teach him to touch himself in the bathroom like the rest of society or get a girlfriend. He told me he would fire him but who knows?

I am deducting two stars for the attendant on duty and the sucky auto wash. This guy is a lazy MORON and a JERK. Supposedly if you go the auto wash route you get free prep when the attendant is on duty. Well, he seems to never be on duty. He will leave the wash bucket and supplies by the car wash but he is never there. The one time he was there he was on his cell phone chatting away. As I pulled up he walked into the middle of the driveway blocking me from getting into the car wash. I thought to myself «wow, he is actually going to work today!»…nope, he just stood in the way of my car and blocked me for about 5 minutes. I couldn’t just leave because once you are in, you are in. He never finished his call, he just left without giving me a first glance and vanished into the office to finish his phone call. As far as the wash itself, don’t bother with the expensive wash, it doesn’t do anything for your vehicle that a regular wash would. I have gone in after prepping my car with bug wash, paid for their bug wash and leave the wash with the same bug crap on my car as when I walked in. There is no power in this car wash to actually get the job done. Do it yourself and save money. The regular wash is just a wash but it’s good enough to get the job done.

So, I don’t know anything about the actual car wash since it took our money, but the machine didn’t actually work/​wash our car… They have a phone number and an e-​mail address posted if there is an emergency. We called the number while still on-​site. It rang and rang without connecting to a person or a voice mail system. I e-​mailed them that same evening once we got home to explain what happened. This all happened on Saturday.
We’ve also tried calling the number again multiple times since and it rings for a long time, doesn’t connect to a person or voice mail, but eventually sounds like it connects to a fax machine. I also e-​mailed them again. Today is Tuesday and I still haven’t had any luck getting a response or having the chance to talk to someone.

It’s a car wash… adequate and close.

This place takes credit cards and isn’t stingy with the soap. At the self wash, you swipe your card and you get 7 minutes to hose down your loved one (car). Swipe again to add a dollar’s worth of cleanliness. I can get my small car squeaky clean for just $ 3. Hose it down!
