If you are looking for selection, this place has it. They carry a huge inventory! Every time I’ve gone they have been super friendly. There are less expensive options closer to home, but when I’m looking to spend a little more on a bottle of that really top shelf spirit, they have it. Some say they are racist or have attitudes dealing with diverse types but I’m not in there to make a friend and they appear to respect my dollar. I’m talking about really top shelf…

This place is a bit newer than my regular package spot but they have a good selection. I don’t drink much wine but they have an extensive wine selection for the size of the store. The guys that work there are cool; they are younger for the most part and seem to be a little more sophisticated than the guys at my regular spot so I go in there when I want to get a good laugh or hear their accents. They moved across the street from the Kroger parking lot and I didn’t think it was possible for them to move from one hard-to-access parking lot to one that is even worse but they managed to work that out somehow. However, they are good people and they showed this by letting me grab a 2-liter Coke after they had already ran my card(it was my fault for being so last minute with it) and told me I could pay for it the next time I came in. That’s good business when you can recognize good people. They have a good liquor selection(I’m a whiskey/brandy/cognac guy) but I can’t give them 5 stars because of their prices. They are basically higher than everyone else in the area. Maybe this is due to the location but they were high when they were across the street, too. On average their prices for products are about $ 3-$ 5 higher then the other stores in the area, including my regular spot, and friends of mine have said the same thing so this can be considered true. However, the store is clean and slightly closer to my house than my go-to liquor store so they will see me sometimes but when I need to watch the wallet, they probably won’t see me.

I’m not a fan. Not only was I not pleased by the prices, but the owners of the store requested that my friend leave her«big bag outside» the next time she came in. Wow! Seriously? That comment alone made me leave over $ 200 worth of product right on the counter. We immediately walked out and went somewhere else. I understand that we have freedoms as Americans, but profiling myself and my companion because of a purse implies that you’re looking at both of us as thieves. You may have had trouble in the past, but that gives you no right to make your life lesson the deciding factor for every individual hereafter. Since that day I have NEVER returned and NEVER will.

I must admit old habits die hard. I am trying to stay alcohol free because my new lifestyle does NOT include drinking any alcohol if I want to lose weight properly and keep it off. But every once in a while I need a little Pink Moscato in the evenings to help me relax a little. :) This location was once in the plaza with Kroger but has since moved behind the Walgreen’s on the corner of Maxham and Thornton Roads. I called from my «Government» job to verify this and scared the heck out of them. I had to convince the owner that I was a customer and not«The Man!»…I keep forgetting to use my cell. LOL Anyway, this is one of my favorite Package stores. It’s not far from my non drinking alcohol bf’s place so I had to actually find a liquor store in his area because he had no idea of where the place was in his area. The prices are descent, the staff is always eager to help and they can even give you suggestions. They carry a nice selection of beverages. I am always able to find what I need. I have a Bartenders book and I am always able to find what I need in this one spot. I always get my Godiva Chocolate Liqueurs here. Yummy!!! I also purchase my Galliano here for my mom’s favorite BBQ sauce recipe.
