Stayed here for 2 nights so we could go to six flags. Took a chance on this place because of the reviews. so thanks! Pros: — Walking distance to Six flags which is good because to park at Six flags will cost $ 25 — Rooms clean and modern with refrigerator and microwave. However, showers only so it may not work if you need a tub. –Breakfast: hot and cold items, I’m not a breakfast eater so I can’t rate food. Coffee was ok. — Lobby clean and front desk clerks were nice and professional. –indoor, pool small but decent.(5feet) — Close to Wendy’s, Waffle house or you can jump on the I20 and go up one exit to find more restaurants, gas stations and even a Super Walmart. –20 min from downtown ATL Only con I have is WIFI sucks!!! Note…they do offer parking for six flags during the day($ 5.00). Wasn’t a problem for me but want to make sure those who chose to stay here know. Would stay again.

Rooms are newly updated and do not look like the pictures on here! New bedding, carpet, fresh paint and new sinks! The hotel got a make over completly on inside! The outside looks dated tho! Rooms are really nice, well priced! Cons: lobby smells like smoke and pot during entire stay, breakfast is minimal but it’s a okay spread. Did not offer weekly rates but was affordable! I will def stay at this location again because rooms are nice!

We took our spring break stay-cation here. We live only a mile away and chose this place for several reasons. Positives: Pool – perfect for play, but extremely hot. When it gets dark, the front desk has to remember to turn the lights on. Rooms – clean, modern, nice place to stay. Very comfortable. Breakfast – no hot foods, but enough bagels, muffins, danishes, hard boiled eggs, juice, and cereal if you’re hungry. Coffee too. Room temperature – cold or hot… our choice!!! Negatives: Parking – they rent the parking spaces for $ 5 a day to Six Flags guests who don’t mind walking a short distance. There were limited spaces in which I could fit my big truck. When we came back at night, the lot was almost empty! The creepy guy at the front desk – he usually works 4 – 12. He YELLED at me because I asked for more towels. He had the nerve to tell me NO! He told me that Iif I got more towels there wouldn’t be enough for everyone else. What the heck??? I was exchanging our wet towels for dry ones. Apparently it was above him to do laundry because he said the women would do it in the morning. He then reprimanded me because we didn’t use the blue striped towels in the pool, but instead used our white ones from the room. After I insisted that I speak to the manager who he had to call on the phone, I got some towels. The next day, I talked to the female(owner perhaps) who assured me that he wouldn’t be creepy anymore(including peering around a corner as we went to our room from the pool). Maybe I should have called the police, but he didn’t bother us anymore. Zero stars for him. WiFi – The free WiFi was«full» and I didn’t want to go ask creepy guy what the deal was. The Howard Johnsons WiFi was readily available. We will stay here again, hopefully the creepy guy will be gone for good.
