I was all ready to give this 4 stars… I wouldn’t have known this place existed without Naoya’s review. A Taqueria attached to a carniceria. This place is very local, we clearly stuck out here. First out the chips and salsa. I loved the chips, the whole basket was gone by the time our meal came out. They came out hot and had great flavor. For my $ 1.25 taco meal, I ordered 2 pastor and 1 asada. It took a while for them to come out which made me happy that they were fresh, as well as the guy running next door to grab ingredients. The tacos came out and looked great, they were overflowing with meat, ample cilantro and onions. Single tortilla which fell apart around 70% threw. I enjoyed both the pastor and asada although the asada was a bit overcooked. So 4 stars going… until I decided to walk around the carniceria. The meat counter… the displayed meats looked wrong. Very wrong. These are the meats we just ate. So if you can avoid the meat counter, you will probably enjoy your taco more. It really was good… and hours later I am not sick, so that is a bonus. Surrounding area is very shady, so make this a daytime trip, unlike us.
