Great food at decent prices which are right in line with other Mexican restaurants. I’ve been there four times and will not stop going anytime soon. My fav restaurant now! Try it out you will not be disappointed in the choices. Try the fajitas texanas

the restaurant is decorated beautifully, the service is alright(depends on who you get) the wait for your food is amazing, only 5 minutes . There is a Mariachi band who goes there on Sundays from 6 – 8 . Food is amazing

I’ve lived in Marietta for over 20 years and I have enjoyed several other restaurants by this owner who also owns Marietta Diner so I was really surprised at how bad this was. First off, the décor and music is bipolar — It’s a Mexican restaurant but they were playing Cuban music through the house speakers and Mariachi music live. Most people won’t know the difference because they don’t know the difference, but it was off putting. Secondly, the food was really bad. I thought about it and I’ve never had bad Mexican food before. I’ve been to Mexico, I enjoy Papasitos, La Parrilla, and other restaurants and never could make this claim, but I honestly took some of the food back home to my dog and he wouldn’t eat it. It was really that bad. On a plus side, the people were nice, pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the management and the kitchen staff kept them from realizing their potential. I hope they fix this soon.

This place is great. The atmosphere is great and food is incredible. Try the casa grande chicken, every time I go I want to order something else but it is so good I go back. The fajitas are also great.

I’ve tried this place about 2 times the first time it was the most horrible food I ever had in my life and I happened to be Mexican. For this place to call their food Mexican is insult to me and to my entire culture. I tried it two times so it is also partly my fault for wasting my time and my money for the food that I wouldn’t even give it to my dog.

Our experience at Cass was amazing. We ordered the fajitas and bbq pork nachos. They also make fresh guacamole at each table based on preference. And if you are a desert person, the cake bar will blow your mind. I know, Mexican and cake? But believe me it’s a great choice if you still have room

So, much better than last time, ordered California steak burrito with chicken soup. Good combo. Hubby ordered what was on the front of menu, shrimp/chicken/steak/sausage/pork fajita. Sausage was the worst, in our opinion but the rest was good.

My husband and I wanted to see why the parking lot is always full here. We see why now. Casa Grande is sooo delicious. The food was hot and fresh. The strawberry mango margarita was perfection. Our waiter was excellent and attentive. We can’t wait to go back! This is the best Mexican we’ve had in the Atlanta area. Prepare for an hour wait at peak times, but it’s so worth it. I wish they took reservations.

It was our 1st visit here. As we drove into parking area we couldn’t help but notice the bright & happy looking restaurant. It was lit up & looked exciting just from the outside! We were greeted pleasantly & quickly seated. Ambiance is very nice. There are all kinds of pretty glass light fixtures. Our server greeted us quickly w chips(not greasy or salty, & hand made!) & salsa. She took our drink order & took our dinner order. I had Grouper & Shrimp over rice w a Chipotle Cream sauce & fresh salad, it was fantastic & I’ll order it again. Husband had 4 different soft tacos w fresh raw vegetables, very nice, not goopy or greasy. This is a great place to dine, family friendly, more upscale than the usual Mexican restaurant. I forgot to mention the desserts! Outstanding choices & many to choose from. I took home a slice of Coconut Cake, so wickedly good! You just cannot eat it in one day! You would die of sugar overload, but what a way to go!!! It is a bit pricier to dine here but well worth it! Also, we were told by our server that Fri. nights are crazy busy, so if waiting isn’t one of your best traits, avoid Fri. nights. I hope you try it & enjoy!

Large menu, lots of choices, portions are large but so far the food is just ok. Not the best Mexican I’ve had. Since the restaurant is new I will give it another shot.

Outstanding, fast service from this new restaurant in the Austell Georgia area. I ordered the Lobster and Shrimp Changa. It’s a bit much, so ensure that you have an appetite. This particular dish is basically a Chimichanga stuffed with seafood and covered. with a pineapple and mandarin sauce. I thought it would be too sweet but it actually tasted good. I recommend this dish.

Mother in law and my husband headed here for dinner one night. We fully expected a wait time because every time we’ve passed this place it has been packed with people waiting outside. We decided to head to the bar for drinks and actually ended up eating there instead. MIL and I Shared a seafood fajitas and my husband for the Texas fajitas. Both were very good. The only thing is when we asked for a small plate because we were sharing he never came back and although the tortillas are made fresh and to die for they didn’t come out at the same time as our fajitas plate so we had to wait with our sizzling food in front of us for a few minutes. My husband and I came here a few weeks after the grand opening and tried the large…(I MEANLARGE) slices of cake. So good!

Hey when the owners are known for great restaurants like Marietta Diner, Marietta Fish Market and Cherokee Cattle Co. to name a few, you expect them to deliver on a great dining experience and Casa Grande is no exception. From the grand opening they were a hit, and Austell Powder Springs area really needed it. With few good dining options available this place really filled a void. Outside you’ll enjoy the Mexican décor and inviting Latin music but it doesn’t stop there, inside you’ll find the same attention to detail. They even have the same cake displays as their other restaurants, is almost impossible to refrain from the guilty pleasure. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and all meals have been delicious so if you haven’t yet, go eat there you won’t regret it.

The best guacamole made right by your table, fresh and to taste! Most authentic mexican food in the area.

The food is very good but the atmosphere is terrible. Since it is a Mexican themed restaurant they must think that LOUD Latin music is required. It is so LOUD I can barely hear the person in either side of me. If someone is across the table, forget it. Impossible to hear. I have eaten there twice and have had the same experience. I don’t expect that I will return. The other restaurants owned by the same people(e.g. Pasta Bella) are much better.

Went in around 4 o’clock in the afternoon and ordered cheese dip to start. Cheese dip was not hot enough and did not have very much flavor(had requested jalapeños)… they did have lobster, etc on menu. We ordered the Parrilada(fajitas with shrimp, steak, chicken, pork, sausage, cheese, bell peppers and onions) choice of corn or flour tortillas… we picked the flour which they make fresh each day. Also included rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomato… It was incredibly awesome! Plenty for two, except they only give 3 tortillas(needs to be 4) and cost $ 1.50 for 3 more. Plate is priced $ 19.99. Well worth price, plus brought food home. On way out we nabbed a piece of Bananas Foster cake to go. We would definitely come back. Service could have been better. Hate when server let’s you run out of drink.

Love the décor! The food… not so much! My friend and I decided to meet up for lunch one Saturday afternoon, she lives in Austell so I suggested this place since it just really opened. Saturday’s lunch crowd was extreme, so I took a seat in the waiting area until my friend arrived. I was really taken with the décor, seating area was really cute, but the unique hangings and colorful chandeliers through the place was a very nice touch. I also noticed and snapped photo of the bar area… pretty cool. After my party arrived we were seated and offered high chairs and booster seats for my friend toddler. Our waitress was soooo sweet she brought out beverages first and even though it was a little after 3pm she still allowed us to order from the lunch menu(I had recently left the Taste of Smyrna and wasn’t that hungry), the lunch menu is offered daily from open til 3, which is not bad at all. I ended up ordering the Texas fajitas, which came with rice and beans it was $ 11.99 on the lunch menu. I also ordered a grande frozen margarita, it came out not all the way filled to the top, one would think this almost $ 10 drink would be topped off. The food came out, but there was no sizzle to my fajitas, it was plated with the beans and rice, which made me feel like it wasn’t cooked freshly. The steak and shrimp was cooked perfectly, but something was off as far as the taste. I wasn’t a big fan of the beans and rice either. Maybe they are still working out the kinks! On my way in I noticed a dessert display filled with Topnotch eye candy desserts, so I inquired, you get huge slices at nearly $ 8 a slice. I was sold, I ordered a strawberry cheesecake to go and yes it was all of that!!! The to go box display the Marietta Diner, Pasta Bella and it other affiliates … So I’m thinking this must be one of their restaurants as well. Once they work out the kinks, this place should be awesome. I will check them out again in a couple of months.

I have to admit, we’d been waiting a while for this restaurant to open. It’s run by the people that brought us Marietta Diner, Cherokee Cattle, Marietta Fish Market and Pasta Bella. So with that line up of restaurants, our expectations were high. The first thing you notice is the quality and vibrancy of the décor. There is no cheesy«Mexican» like chatchkies as the decoration. There are glass blown sculptures and enlayed wood panels that are throughout the restaurant. And I have to say, our expectations did not turn to disappointment. This is still their«soft opening» and they are only working on a limited menu. You’d think that this alone could be disappointing. It was not. I had the Enchilada’s Verde. The three enchiladas were stuffed full of fresh cut chicken. My partner ordered the Casa Grande Chicken. It was a chicken breast that was lightly fried, stuffed with mushrooms and topped with a pomegranate sauce. Both entrée’s were accompanied by a delicious rice side that was similar to «fried rice» but was bursting with flavor. In addition to that, there was a salad with a dressing that had some kind of citrus infused dressing. I can not explain how flavorful and fresh everything was. Make no mistake, they’re busy. There appears to be an hour wait at peak times. But they move people with the efficiency that the other restaurants do and it does not miss a beat with the high level of service. Actually, I can’t wait to try portions of the full menu. The selections look to be just as amazing. This is not like a typical chain«Mexican» restaurant. It’s kicked everything up a notch. I have no doubt that this will become the best Mexican Restaurant in Metro Atlanta. We will be back … and we will bring more people. Good Job Guys… You have another jewel in your crown.
