Zipfel Dental Care

Nice Dr. who is very friendly. Staff was extremely friendly too. This place seemed very «Stepford Wives» like to the point where it just seemed fake. I drove my friend here, because her car broke down and she didnt want to get charged a cancellation fee. My radar was up given the weird vibe I got in the office, which I later learned that this place is yet another Scientology based practice. Is there any normal place here in the city?

Dr. Zipfel and her whole staff are very friendly, and their offices are clean and modern. Her dental hygienist is friendly and thorough — they found cavities and did fillings for me.
However, I do not care for their billing practices. While they did correctly submit all claims to insurance and CareCredit up to a point, Sita, the billing clerk charged me up front for Zoom treatment in July, which they didn’t get around to administering until late September, then at that point they said I wasn’t a candidate and gave me trays instead, saying those were half the cost of the Zoom and they would credit me the difference. Well, here it is November 9 and they still haven’t credited me, and now are falsely claiming my insurance didn’t pay them, which they did.
To add insult to injury, they won’t take me off their «Zoom» postcard mailing list and keep sending me ads for it even though they have told me I’m not a candidate.
I really don’t like any business that plays games with billing. So if you do go to them, make sure you examine and cross examine every billing and insurance item. Sita also routinely does not acknowledge or return calls promptly.
