Best real Mexican food in Colorado! I’ve had tacos all over the US and Mexico. This place is as authentic as you will find anywhere. They have every type of taco, sopas, burritos, enchiladas etc. the meats are excellent. They do a gyro style pork that is unbelievable. The neighborhood isn’t great but if you ask any one of Latino descent where to get the best tacos. If they have been there they will say tacos jr #3. The market that’s attached is amazing as well. It’s like the Mexican H mart/farmers market. Great produce and carniceria.

East Colfax, Its scary as hell some times! But get over it stop in here and be that Gringo! Branch out try something new, get a little culture and come have some authentic Tacos, corn tortillas, little queso, meat of your choice, don’t know what barbacoa is ask, someone there will bust out a little english! 3 to a plate with a nice pico, couple limes and some beans and rice! At any given time I’m the only ghost face in here but when I can I stop through because the tacos are good and I like stepping outside the boundaries and walking a different path! When done with the my meal occasionally I hit the Mercado connected to this spot and get some good priced produce, cheap pastries, bulk beans and rice!
